Water Mead – NorthwichAte here on a sunny day in a lovley beer garden, with nice play area for my children, food was gorgeous, staff were friendly, will be going back soon! :-D
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachOne star is being generous as I would happily give this place no stars. My wife and I ordered food (I had a jacket potato and my wife had a wrap). We waited for nearly an hour until one of the barstaff came to us and apologised, stating that our order had not been put through and that she will get the chefs to put the order through extra quickly. When our food eventually arrived my jacket potato was raw throughout, hard when prodded with a fork. I notified one of the staff, who apologised, asked if I wanted anything else. I ordered a wrap and stated that I was not prepared to pay for my order. The member of staff stated that I would not have to pay for the jacket potato. My wrap arrived after a further 20 minutes. We ate it quickly and then went to pay. My wife and I were shocked that we were asked to pay for my extra wrap, as there had been nothing wrong with it. I stated that the wrap should have been complimentary for our wait and the raw potato. The staff looked at me as though I had insulted them. After a moment of awkwardness, the lady in charge stated that she could only take 10 off the bill.If you want a decent pub meal with an acceptable level of service, I recommend that you avoid this place.
The Dining Room at the Frog – ChesterThis Vatikka restaurant is excellent. The food is incredible. I could not say anything wrong about this place. I would recommend that anyone who likes a good Indian, should definitely try it. The service was great and they all have a good sence of humour. I did not feel rushed and the setting added to the good food. I will be going back and just remember, turn up with a good apetite as the portions are huge.
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – WidnesTerrible pub. Rude staff especially the landlady. Food was disgusting and overpriced. Don't bother.
I really enjoyed my meal at cafe salar with my mates, the staff were cheerfull and welcoming and the food was fantasic, we were spoilt for choice of the menu. I had such a fab night we left the place hammered.. I'll certainly be coming back to try more cocktails!
Cafe Salar – LymmHad a really good time here, great atmosphere and the best steak I've had in a long time. Ended up staying and drinking cocktails all night, the staff were all lovely and friendly, would really recommend a visit!
Cafe Salar – LymmMr chows was a great place to eat we went on the 28/05/2012 and sat at the rear down stairs to find spiders and cobwebs the chicken does not taste like chicken or even look like it the texture is wrong i used to live in Neston and was a regular visitor but now i dont think i will be going back such a shame as the setting is great
I recently went here for lunch with my family and was really impressed. The staff were great with the kids and gave us some paper and crayons to keep them entertained, and a good deal on the children’s menu too. I have allergies to certain foods so sometimes feel a bit of a nuisance at restaurants trying to find something I can eat. But the staff were full of suggestions for me and the chef was very accommodating to my needs. Will definitely go again!
Cafe Salar – Lymmi would be very interested in receiving any special offers. Many thanks
1539 Restaurant and Bar – ChesterGreat food , great staff providing warm and welcoming dining experience . So much so I'm going back tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachWent in recently with some friends for a bite to eat and some cocktails before heading off to Manchester, food was great and not too expensive. Sat at the bar and had a good laugh with the lads serving us. First time but definitely won't be the last!
Cafe Salar – LymmEaten here twice within a few weeks and ended up with food poisoning on both occasions. Had chicken wings to start on first occasion and the chicken was off. I sent it back and was told that the chef said it wasn't off! I think I can tell when chicken is off or not. I went to tell the barman in case they sold more to others. A few hours later I was violently ill. The second time was last night, I had scampi and thought the first piece tasted a bit odd but didn't complain, again I was violently ill when I got home. Its a nice place for a drink but please do not eat here.
Bunbury Arms – ChesterI've been to most of the 'Indian Cuisine' restaurants in Wirral and i rate the Vindaloo right up there with the best. The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, the service excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly. You can take your own drinks which helps keep the cost down for large parties. Be warned though, the Chicken Madras is Madras in flavour but has a kick like an Elephant gun; so if you like something hot the Vindaloo lives up to its name. However, there are plenty of less fiery dishes to choose from and the staff will explain clearly what is what.
Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonSince the relaunch of the Ring O Bells after the refurbishment I have eaten there on a number of occasions.
