Went to their supper club night - 5 courses for £13.95, everything was delicious, you weren't rushed through the meal, or having to leave the table at the end of the meal, service was great, highly recommended

The Nags Head – ChesterGood food but far too often over charging for food. Approx. 15 visits and at least 5 times the bill has had items that should not have been there (normally £10 to £20's worth of items - so well worth the mention). Real shame.
The Gunnery Bar & Restaurant – ChesterAttended a wonderful live jazz evening here on Sunday. We ate first in the restaurant then walked over to their piano bar. Was a terrific evening, we even had a dance. Very friendly and attentive staff food was great and a fabulous atmosphere. Only downside was cask ale was off due to a cellar problem but at £2.50 a pint I will definitely coming back here.
Marco Marco – LymmExcellent service, but disappointed with the bland food. Menu a little pricey for pub grub.
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachThis review is because Giovanni new manager at Marco Marco made me and my friends so welcome making our night perfect. The food was delicious and could not fault the service. Loved the artwork on the walls and looking forward to their new bar so we can drink lots of champagne
Marco Marco – LymmHave read the review by Sidney w g Boulton and the food sounds fab will be coming to sample it ourselves.
The Barn India – Crewe20 years i have been going here, probably only twice a year over recent years, but I LOVE THE PLACE. Took the parent out a couple of months ago, and then the parents as well as introducing the girlfriend this week. Food, authentic, tasty and punctual, Staff are keen, little quick on the order requests after handing out the menus but we'd all prefer it that way!! Garlic bread (as it comes) is a real good kick off. There is a special but while the rest of the menu doesn't change.. bar in price.. it remains a lovely evening for couples, parents, families and off the cuff evenings. Enjoy!!
Ristorante Italia – BebingtonWe haven't visited Chilli Banana for some time but my husband wanted a special treat for his birthday and has chosen Chilli Banana even though it is quite a distance to travel. I think that says it all for the food and service - always found it lovely and not too busy if you go early. Just spoilt for choice now between Macclesfield and Wilmslow
Chilli Banana – WilmslowCome to visit friends every couple of months in Nantwich and we always come to The Cat. We stayed here one time as well and the room was lovely. The food is amazing and I love the building and the decor. Wish there was a Cat in York!!!! Xxxx
The Cheshire Cat – NantwichApril 1st Just had a meal at the Bunbury Arms. On entering thought nice pub, and it is, barman pleasant said food was still being serves but only had roast chicken Sunday roast left. Sat down looked at interesting menu, saw a Sunday chicken dinner go past, looked nice so ordered two of those. After about 20 minuets our food arrived, chicken was fine, but rest of it was very poor, veg was over microwaved, not salted and tasteless and hard, roasts and Yorkshire pudding all that was edible. So we left most of meal. Shame as place was busy and as only a few minutes from home would have become our local
Bunbury Arms – ChesterNot impressed I had a so called sherards pie which more resembled soup and was covered with sliced potato and not mash could be better know as hotspot. Also there was more fat than meat in this dish will not be going again.
The Midland – MarpleWe recently had lunch in Nantwich Enzo. Great coffee and we had a very yummy ciabatta toastie. Would highly recommend. Are there any other Enzo's in the UK? We get about the country a fair bit and would like to know so we can go there!!
Enzo – NantwichGreat food, attentive waiter, clean and modern, reasonably priced - we are two very happy customers!
Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonFound Bistro Blu by chance after having lunch by the river at Blue Moon. Food was something of a revelation, how can this rather out of the way place get it so very right. The place was packed, no recession on here, but with the food on offer who could resist such offerings. My partner started with a Soft shell crab, never eaten this before but now a convert, I had mussels in cider again yummy. For mains I had Kleftico and as I am a Greek lover at heart it was superb cooked as it should be in a foils bag at the table, Partner had burger, but it was a rather large and very well cooked wild boar burger sitting on a shelf of smoked bacon and grilled cheese, served with huge chips.
Blue Moon Cafe – ChesterWe have just discovered The Naggs Head and we had a lovely meal served by a very professional staff all of whom have been well trained.>I had a wonderful soup of tomatoes and red peppers with a hint of I think chilli, It was the best I have had for a while, Then I tried the local red Polli beef this also was cooked to my liking nice and pink, huge yorky pud and veg and pots well cooked. we will be coming again with friends, It a great venue,
The Nags Head – ChesterHad lunch here today lovely welcome. The food was excellent had a berry mess for sweet that was to die for.The pubs decor and furnishings are very easy on the eye. good luck to you all on your refurbishment
The Swan at Higher Kinnerton – ChesterI have eaten here a few times and thought it’s about time i wrote a review. The food is fabulous and fairly authentic (I’m a fussy Italian) me and my husband have both been very happy with the food and the service on every occasion. I would recommend this eatery
Romazzino – NantwichMy boyfriend and I visited Chester recently and stumbled across the gem of all steak restaurants. The New Blossoms Hotel hosts a steak and grill restaurant with a modern, contemporary feel. We were shown to a booth and ordered a very nice glass of shiraz. The menu included most pub classics such as fish and chips but we opted for steak as after all this is their speciality. I choose an 8oz sirlion, which was the special offer of the day, whilst my boyfriend the ribeye (his favourite!). Both were accompanied by home cooked chips, tomato, mushroom and watercress. We ordered a bearnaise sauce on the side and a mixed salad. The food was absolutely outstanding the steak was the best we have tasted by far. The restaurant was deserted, which was a treat as it was my boyfriend's birthday! The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be visiting Chester again even if just to visit the grille restaurant I would highly recommend this to anyone.
