Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamI love to boogie down.
Sopranos – WarringtonI came here with my associates for a Christmas clambake. After chewing over the menu I committed myself to the chicken wings dipped in a rich BBQ sauce and a chicken and green jalapeno 9' inch, pan baked pizza.
Pizza Hut (Winwick Road) – WarringtonGood surroundings, good selection of menu and specials board not to expensive. Waiting on staff appeared disinterested but food OK although plates seemed to be over filled it was mainly veg and not much meat. Overall we had a very pleasant meal.
Bulls Head – SandbachA wonderful dining experience, we have been many times since moving into the area, every aspect is excellent, food, service, prices represent excellent value for money and the quality is consistently high, in fact we will be back again next Saturday if we can get a table for 6. Lorraine - Leigh
Don Luigi – WarringtonRestaurant appeared to be poorly ran as staff always look seem to walk around in a world of there own. food took a very long time arrive 55min, but was lovely when it did finally arrive lovely pub, lovely food, Very Poor Service Shame
Red Lion The – WarringtonVisited the Coach for a second time since it was taken over by the new owners, Vicky and Julie. The pub has now been refurbished and the real coal fire has been opened up. As a large party, we booked in advance and were made to feel very welcome. Even stayed on for the quiz (but didn't win! - maybe next time!!). Well worth a visit - fantastic pub.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweAbsolutely the worst curry I've had in ten years: nowhere near as good as a Tesco ready meal. The food came a couple of minutes after ordering, obviously pre cooked. Chicken tikka dhansak was ordinary not tikka chicken, no lentils and some cold cubes of tinned pineapple chucked in. Jalfrezi tasted of nothing but green chiilis. Fast friendly service and a good atmospehere but why would anyone go here: the food was appalling.
Mughli Restaurant – Knutsfordi am a regular at mr chows going at least once monthly as it is so fantastic, the food is delicious and i recommend ordering a tea time banquet as its five courses for £15 or less and the service is brilliant. highly recommended. by far the best and oldest Chinese restaurant on the wirral.
This is the best Indian restaurant in the area .Excellent food and friendly staff
Passage To India – CreweExcellent German fayre for a party of 30 - the food gets better and better. Well done Claudia!
Chetwode Arms – WarringtonUpon visiting the King William of Wilmslow. I was impressed from the outset by the appearance outside and, this was heavily complimented by the inner interior. The mood and tone set by the staff was very welcoming. And a sense of family value was strongly picked up on. i strongly recommend visiting the pub, and dining their, you wont come across such a pub diverse as this.
King William – Wilmslowgreat restaurant, excellent atmosphere. Murillos is full even on a Tuesday night in November so best booking. Normally works out about 25 pounds a head with a bottle of house Valencia red and a couple of drinks. Good waiting team and very smart place to dine or have a drink as we notice lot of ladies having a drink and few tapas. We will go back.
Today we went to the Coach House Restaurant in Chester. We were served our soup and roll which was quite nice, but then had to wait 50 minutes for our main meal which was poor. We had to remind the manager twice that we had been waiting for our main course. Would definitely not go back again.
The Coach House – ChesterI have been eating food from Mr Bashir's restaurants for over 25 years. He has employed a series of excellent chefs, many of whom have gone on to open their own establishments. I have never had anything less than an excellent meal at the Bengal Station, or the Aloka (in Crewe) before it. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Tikka is fantastic (ask for a Madras curry sauce) and the Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Balti are to die for! Try them with a guitar-sized Keema Nan!
Bangol Station – NantwichThis unpretentious restaurant served generous portions of excellent food at normal prices for the area. The staff were friendly and efficient without being over-attentive. The toilets were clean and well-kept. Highly recommended!
Taqudir Tandoori – CreweThe food is very good, however the lack of attention by staff was disappointing. The price is very expensive which spoiled a very nice evening. Over £90 per couple for small portions. wine and water particularly expensive and any vegetables were a pricey extra.
Pesto at Cabbage Hall – TarporleyThis is definitely our new place to dine! What can i say I've actually found a curry house where the lamb doesn't feel like its been cooked for days. It is actually the opposite. It is so tender and so soft it just breaks apart with the slightest touch. Chicken Tikka, Chops, Nann Breads etc all to a superb standard. Not only is the food beautiful but the decor is modern and clean too in a lively location. I would highly recommend this for one to try in the near future.
