Ten of us had a wonderful experience on Boxing day 2009. Service and food as usual were great. Staff googling the name of the snake in "The Jungle book" was the icing on the cake.

Peruga At Woodheys – Marplelooks good when you arrive but is such a disappointment the plates were dirty, cups still had tea and lip gloss on them, the barman clearly didnt want us there or the chef as we were made to feel like an inconvenience, only two others eating in there but were told it would be at least a twenty min wait wich we didnt mind the bar man said that it could be much longer ?but we were thirsty so we orderd drinks he was rude unhelpfull the food was dreadfull cold .didnt eat it complained to the chef who had his coat on as soon as our meals came out .they just didnt care ,avoid at all costs
Shakespeare The – NantwichConsistently great food an fantastic service. Oh, and the views are very good as well. As a family we regularly eat here for important family occasions.
Peruga At Woodheys – MarpleI recommend you go somewhere else. The food is mediocre and the service is appalling. The staff can barely smile and act as if they are doing you a favor. The few staff that were pleasant were hopeless. The manager was rude to the point of hostile. How he can work in the hospitality industry is baffling. It was a shockingly bad experience. NEVER AGAIN
Plough and Flail Inn The – KnutsfordWe go regularly to this restaurant and it is the best Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine on the Wirral. The service is excellent and ALL the staff work very, very hard to make sure you have an excellent evening, Well done and keep up the good work and quality food. Richard and Paula Beckett.
Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonHad my Ruby Wedding anniversary meal here on 5 Dec 2009 and could not have been more pleased with my choice of venue. Excellent all round, food, drinks, service and music, the music being a bonus, my kind of music!! Will certainly be calling again and would highly recommend to all.
Spirit Restaurant – Warringtonthe food was very cold the atmosphere was bad there was a waiter staring at me while i was eating my food very off putting the staff looked very underage and looked like they were forced to work.
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamWe had a beautiful lunch here recently, the food was outstanding and the staff we most welcoming to us and our young baby. It is quite unusual to find such a high quality restaurant that is also family friendly. Excellent value for money too.
Cock O’Barton – MalpasLovely food - excellent value. Looking forward to going there again tonight! - Top marks
Aroi-Thai – NantwichAbsolutely fab, food, service and staff can't wait to go back.
1851 Restaurant @ Peckforton Castle – TarporleyI enjoy dinning at Mr Chows I am a regular visitor there, but I have noticed many times after I ask for the bill you do not get an itemized receipt,I think it is most important so the customer can check his bill,I have no complaints with the service or food as the restaurant is very good and the staff are very friendly.
Best Chinese locally by far.... food and service 5*
Handforth Cantonese Restaurant – WilmslowRecently worked in Macclesfield and needed a sandwich and cuppa. Stopped by a cafe in a busy shopping centre and thought I would have to wait for a long time....everyone was commenting on how professional the girls were behind the counter and in the cafe. When I was served, I was asked if I wanted to stay in, which I chose to. The service was absolutely fantastic. The sandwich, which was very tasty, came with a fresh, good size portion of salad with a small portion of crisps. Lovely cuppa too. Excellent value. Don't normally write these things, but just had to say something about CoffeeBeans cafe.Well Done!
The Coffee Bean Cafe – MacclesfieldFantastic place... staff amazing... food incredible ... Go there. We had one of the 2 people platters - what tasty treats . The service is great, someone takes your drinks and escorts you to your table, the table service was impeccable and then retired to the lounge for after dinner drinks. No rush to leave and ended staying for several hours. A delightful place.
Pesto at Cabbage Hall – TarporleyThe Dun Cow has recently been taken over by new management in July 2009. My husband and I expected good things as the same team and chef catered our wedding this year and all our guests raved about the food. We ate in the restaurant last night and the food was amazing. The quality, presentation and attention to detail made us feel like we were in a top restaurant, not a country pub. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The setting is a traditional, cosy pub, but the food is by no means pub grub - superb! We can't wait to go again and take our friends and family. Good work Barry and Marc.
Dun Cow – KnutsfordWe have eaten in this pub fairly frequently, and went for tea last night. Sadly the standards are not as high as they were, my steak was rare instead of medium, steaks now come as just steak & chips with half a tomato and a small mushroom, no salad or vegetables, but there's no reduction in the price! Our children had the Ham and Eggs, which used to be a thick slice of hand carved ham with a fried egg and chips and peas, the ham we got last night was clearly pre-sliced processed ham, again, the drop in standards was not reflected by a reduction in price. Over all, I don't think I would recommend The Hinderton Arms as highly as I used to, which is a great shame.
Hinderton Arms – ParkgateABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!!!!!! BEWARE STAY AWAY. DELIVERED COMPLETELY WRONG ORDER, AND IT WAS COLD WHEN WE RANG UP WERENT INTERESTED WAS MEANT TO SEND OUT COMPLETE ORDER AGAIN BUT AFTER WAITING A FURTHER 3 HOURS STILL NO FOOD!!!! MANAGER OF THE SHP ALSO WASTE OF SPACE!! DONT WASTE UR TIME I LOST £20!!!!!
Carlos Pizza – RuncornWe eat at Sindh at least once a month and would highly recommend it. Its small, very friendly and the food is excellent. Great for a celebration or just a meal for two.
