I would recommend anyone go to this place for a meal. The sea bass i had was to die for. Well worth a visit. It was warm and welcoming with good food. I shall be back again.

K1 – ChesterFantastic menu and good quality food at the Travellers Rest in Lowton. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered. The whole evening was very enjoyable, I would recommend the Travellers Rest for anyone wishing a good night out with excellent food
Travellers Rest – WarringtonWhat a find, three of us ate there Sat. night 11th Dec'10, wonderful, tasty, imaginative. A lovely relaxing atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff, we'll certainly go back and will recommend Bistro Blu to all our friends.
Blue Moon Cafe – ChesterThe service here was hurried and rude. My wife ordered a pizza and while I was still choosing my meal the manageress said "you can't share a pizza!" Not recommended.
Ristorante Italia – BebingtonHave eaten at Widnes's new Indian Restaurant Vatikka in Widnes Road, on a few occasions now and have had a few takeaways and have to say the food is the best Indian we have tried. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant offering superb quality fresh food at reasonable prices. The menu is different to anywhere we have tried before and the Indian Tapas is a unique twist on an Indian menu. I highly recommend the Lamb Shank, Vatikka Biriyani was superb too. The early diner menu at £9.95 is brilliant value and cheaper than a takeaway anywhere. A nice wine list to complement the cuisine and at a good price. Well worth the drive over to try. It really is a new fabulous find for Widnes and the service is fab. Very accommodating on how you want the spice. The owners should be very proud they have a great little place. We are regulars and have told all our friends. 10/10!! Just go there you wont be disappointed
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – WidnesHad dinner her with a friend from Melbourne. It was so bad it was embarrassing as he was paying!
I have now had 2 takeaways from Vatikka and they were both very good. Fresh ingredients and tasty. My wife said the best Sheek Kebab she has had. If you dine in you have even more variety on the menu and they do a good selection of fish dishes. They are also doing deliveries, excellent service in this weather.
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – WidnesWas there on Nov 27th for my husbands 50th birthday, we came across the place by chance and how lucky were we, what a wonderful atmosphere, the food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble would definitely go there again and would recommend it to anyone
Blue Moon Cafe – Chesteri went in to dine in vatikka with my mates and it is a comfortable place to dine in, the staffs are really nice n friendly, it has an open kitchen so you can see you're food cooked and I've not seen many restaurants with open plan kitchen. The menu is spot on, soo many mouthwatering dishes to choose from, ill be back vatikka
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – Widneswe went to the vatikka as a party of 16people.one fabulous restaurant, contemporary warm feeling.the best Indian in the whole of Cheshire.the food is so nice in flavour, the presentation spot one.you get the perfect service once you walk in till the end.Indian tapas this is the place, also the menu you get spoilt for choice.highly recommended.got to say there are Indian restaurants but they are in a class of there own.
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – WidnesNot Good!!!!! Service was excellent, bearing in mind there was only our table in the restaurant. Personal preference I know but the Chianti came to the table as cold as I’d expect a white. My starter was poor (Chicken Balsamica), presentation was confused, hard to tell the difference between the mushrooms and the chicken - even the texture didn’t give too many clues away!! Whereas the king prawns my fiance had looked really good and the tomato sauce complimented it very well. Main course we both ordered the sirloin. Once again I was disappointed with my plate, Mediterranean vegetables sat in a pool of wetness that can only be described as an oil and water slick. The taste was good, crisp flavours but the moisture on the plate was too much. Cremiso sauce was really tasty. Sirloin arrived with a side of fat that took a good while to hack away. Whilst I expect some fat, this was far too much for my liking and this was exacerbated when I had to literally carve into the rare steak I had ordered. I tasted a fork and whilst cooked well, the quality of the steak let the dish down with plenty of gristle to cut through to get near the nice middle. I sent it back to be told that the chef prided himself on his beef products and he would cut the gristle away for me, my response was to go hungry! This may have been a bad night for the chef / me!! (or the produce he was serving) but my fiancé had a lovely sirloin with arrabiata topped with king prawns that makes me think I was a little bit unlucky with my choice of dishes this evening. I generally don't do dessert as I don't have a sweet tooth, but I tried the Dolce Calzone as I was still hungry after sending back the main and I was really impressed with the custard combination with the sweet calzone oozing fruit as I cut into it. My comment was that I’d come back to Delgado's on the strength of the dessert. I received the bill and was disappointed to have been charged for my main course although they discounted my dessert and a double expresso. I had also purchased 2 bottles of wine beers and brandy. At the till I expressed my disappointment to be told that they had discounted half of the main course with the coffee and dessert. My response was I didn't eat even the main!! Overall though; would I go back again?? Good question. Service was excellent and welcoming; my food was certainly poor although my fiancé’s was good. What I can't get away from is the question I asked walking back - is the chef from the north or the south?????? Of St Helen's, Warrington, Liverpool or Manchester Because it certainly wasn’t not authentic Italian food and the empty restaurant this evening probably confirms it.
Delgados – Warringtonl visited this restaurant one Saturday for lunch. What an unexpected surprise. The food was excellent, very fresh and reasonably priced. A very busy place but well worth the wait.
Alfresco – Chesterfantastic food and very helpful and pleasant staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant as well as Heddies in Wilmslow.
Was recommended to this restaurant by some close friends. Have been there on numerous occasions now.Absolutely fabulous food. Reminded me of my various trips to Thailand and Malaysia.
Chilli Banana – MacclesfieldThe owner of this establishment MICHEAL CONNETT is appauling to his staff and shows no regard for their circumstances or welfare. He cheats them out of tips, doesn't pay wages on time, when he does finally pay he short changes them, he speaks to staff members with zero respect and is in debt up to his eyeballs for the business. Please do not work for this man, he changes staff more often than his shirts and then makes up untrue stories about them so people thing he's been misstreated when in fact he's the one who is misstreating his staff!
Cafe Salar – LymmLondon prices in rural Cheshire just don't work had the food been something special then it would not be a problem, Game not to every bodies taste but i understand it was a special event, the real insult was paying £11.50 for cheese board 2 small bits of cheese on a plate with an old piece of apple and out of date grapes.
