Chesters – MacclesfieldHad an very good lunch. The Roast Pork was delicious - meat was plentiful and tender although there was perhaps not enough of the tasty crackling; vegetables were perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and clearly homemade. Well kept Robinsons beer too.
Legh Arms and Blackboy Restaurant – Macclesfieldwhat a hidden gem! home cooked food at a value for money price, and the presentation is second to none.
The Moorings – NorthwichJane the landlady cooks herself assisted by Cheryl. A varied menu is available. Dean the landlord supplies a fine selection of wines and beers. Pensioners specials at lunchtime. Book early as their reputation grows.
Farmers Arms – NantwichTo experience the best Spanish Tapas you must visit the King William Pub in Wilmslow. As well as Tapas there is a full menu of traditional meals. On the drinks front in addition to the well kept range of Robinson beers there are fine wines and a monthly special selection. This place must be one of Wilmslow's best kept secrets...!
King William – WilmslowWent on a Sunday and had the buffet, lots of different dishes, you can go back fore as much as you want. The food was excellent, piping hot, and plenty of it. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and not in your face all the time. We have been back on a few occasions and recommended it to lots of people. The cost of the buffet was £8.50 the last time we went in autumn 2005WELL WORTH A VISIT.
Khans – SandbachThe Davenport arms is an amazing restaurant it has the highest quality of food at lowish prices the waitress' are very helpful but no over helpful the time we waited for our food was not long and also the food is made fresh and has a very large menu and has different eating areas
Pesto At The Davenport Arms – MacclesfieldService consistently friendly and efficient. Comprehensive pizza menu and also traditional Italian pasta, meat, chicken and fish dishes. "Specials of the Day" often include interesting fish dishes which are usually of good standard and value.
Donatello Pizzeria – WarringtonDon't be put off by the prices as the food and drink is worth EVERY penny! We went for a romantic birthday meal and it was wonderful. The staff are professional, friendly and really informative about the food, the atmosphere is relaxed while classy, and the food was simply devine. Chester has been my home for many years and I am really pleased that we now have somewhere like this in the centre of town.
Upstairs At The Grill – Chester14 February 2006. Fabulous meal great price great atmosphere. Would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. Nice helpful staff. One of the best meals we have for a long time. We were a party of 4 who will certainly be visiting this restaurant again. Many thanks to all.
Carriages Restaurant – ChesterThis is a fantastic place for that special meal, have eaten here a few times and stayed at the hotel. The restaurant serves little extras, i.e. canapés, and teeny bowls of soup as appetisers, which are 'complimentary', lovely venue.
Rowton Hall – ChesterThe Kingfisher has changed hands, has a new chef, and is consequently more professionally run. As with most pubs if you stick to traditional pub fare you cant go wrong. The fish and chips are hot and tasty, soups are homemade there is an ample selection of other foods on the menu to satisfy most tastes. There is a good selection of beers and wines. Sometimes there are delays in the service when the restaurant gets busy, but it's a lovely pub to sit around in at lunchtime and the staff are now better trained to be very polite and helpful.
Kingfisher The – NorthwichExcellent service provided by Chris - the very friendly assistant manager. Really great place to go to eat, and you must try those cocktails. We had one too many!
Bollicini – ChesterI have ate at Brewers Fayre for my birthday for the past 3 years. We have also attended for meals on the occasion and have found it to be a very nice place and excellent service.
Toby Carvery Widnes – WidnesWe had never been in before, but found that the service and food and general surroundings were very good. we were asked if we wanted large or small meals and can say that they were excellent. The landlord was very friendly. We would certainly go there again.
The Talbot – NantwichI found the food to be excellent and the atmosphere/service was very good. My new favourite restaurant!
The Wizard – MacclesfieldWent here last week and it was really good! It is only a small upstairs restaurant but the food was superb. We decided to have the buffet, it was 6.95 and there were starters a variety of main dishes and rice and naan. There was even pudding. I recommend it to everyone!
Spice Parlour – NantwichA regular haunt of mine, both with my partner, or work colleagues, or a girls night out. Food is very good, service is good too.
