probably the worst pub in Nantwich, i wouldn't let my dog eat there, its very dirty, and if your brave enough to eat there, id be very surprised if you didn't need a trip to A an E.

Shakespeare The – NantwichMy family and I went for a meal here back in August 07. Thought the food was very nice, you got plenty. We all enjoyed it. The service was good. Most of all the toilets were clean. Recommend this restaurant.
Eastern Delights Restaurants – Ellesmere Portgreat food, good service, good chefs specials on the blackboards, will return
Rising Sun – CreweThis is everything that a Country Pub should be with a really warm welcome, excellent food without the presumptiousness of other restaurants in the local area ( or the price tags ) They also always have a good selection of beers with Guest Beers always being well conditioned. Well worth a visit, but remember to book to guarantee your seat !
Carden Arms – MalpasI can honestly say ,without any exaggeration, that our meal at Peruga was by far the best meal we've ever experienced. The finest food in stunning surroundings, topped off with first class service. You'd be a fool NOT to eat here!
Peruga At Woodheys – Marplewhat a fantastic meal we had here served by friendly happy staff which i know makes a change for a little chef , the big breakfast is a challenge to eat its well worth a visit
Little Chef – CreweThe best place to eat in Macclesfield in my opinion. Great food, great atmosphere and brilliant, friendly service. I have enjoyed many meals here since Pepe opened
Chesters – Macclesfieldvery good quality esp the cream cakes my favourite would have to be the eclairs
Chatwins – NantwichOur table was booked for 12.30 on the 16th September and although we arrived on time our table wasn't ready. We were seated at 12.45 our order was taken quite quickly. Our starters arrived 1.55 pm and at 2.30 I asked when our main course would arrive. It came at 2.45 and it was cold. I complained to the waitress and asked for the service charge to be omitted. There was no manager around just young girls with little or no training. Due to the standard of the food and the poor service the bill should have been reduced but there was no one with any authority on duty
Frozen Mop – KnutsfordOne of our favourites in the area
Casa Brasserie at The Crown Hotel – NantwichI was really disappointed last night when me and my husband went to Amore. I rang the restaurant at 9pm sat night in order to check they would still be serving food when we got there at about 9.15. I was informed that they serve food until 10pm but we should get there a little earlier. We arrived at 9.20 and walked upto the desk and asked for a table. I was met with a very frosty reception from who I assume to be the manageress. She informed me that now was the time they stopped serving food. I informed her that I had already called and had double checked that we would be ok to sit and eat at this time. She was very rude, unhelpful and by no means professional in her manner. She shoved 2 menus at me and told us to sit at a table. We sat down only to be asked what we wanted by a waiter all of 2 minutes later. I got the feeling we were going to be rushed out of there and the service would be awful due to the time we had arrived so I gave her the menus back and we went to Oswalds where we were welcomed with open arms by very polite and helpful staff. Oswalds had every table full and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, Amore on the other hand had 1 table in when we arrived so I don't really think the manageress is in a position to turn away custom at 9.20 on a sat eve. I am totally shocked by this as I think she didn't handle it in a professional manner. Frodsham is a small place with very few restaurants to go to. Me and my husband have just moved into the area and go out for a meal about twice a month so Oswalds are going to get to know us pretty well. I had hoped that we would have a choice and be able to sample the food in Amore as it has mainly excellent reviews but I am now put off by my experience.
Amore Bar Restaurant – FrodshamAfter seeing this restaurant so busy I thought it must be good. We were very disappointed. The service was awful, the food average and I certainly would not recommend it as the place to go for a nice italian
Don Luigi – WarringtonI have eaten here on a few separate occasions and I've always enjoyed my meal. I took my wife for Tea last night and we both opted for the Game Pie. I asked the waitress twice if it came with veg and Chips as the menu was unclear which she said yes. The Pie was 16 pound a head and when it was delivered there were a couple of Crisps a pie but no veg. So we waited and waited eventually someone realised something was wrong and they came over they said the veg was in the pie so they brought us some more over. There wasn't veg in the pie only a hair which fortunately was in my dinner and not my wife's who felt physically sick. The manager came over and I explained about the quality of the food and service I wasn't even kicking off I was merely explaining to assist them in future. They knocked the Veg and bowl of chips off the bill. I will never eat here again especially when there are other restaurants like the Plough and the Blue Cap who even when they don't provide quality food always provide excellent service
Duke Of Portland – NorthwichA warm welcome as we walked in looking for a bite to eat. The Steak Pie was home made and well presented. The bitter, Robinsons, was very good and served well. A definite return visit is planned.
Market Tavern – SandbachWhat a fantastic place! Visited for the first time last weekend & met the new owners. The food was amazing and was complemented by excellent service from all the staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone - in fact, we're going to become regulars!
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweWe had heard mixed reports about the new Frozen Mop but went to try it for ourselves a couple of weeks ago. Although it was in the middle to the week, the restaurant was busy. The place looked fanatastic - a total makeover of the old Chef and Brewer style. What a pity that the food didn't live up to the new decor. The menu was unimaginative to say the least. Starters and mains were expensive, lacked any attempt at presentation and did not include vegetables or salad in many cases which was unacceptable given the price.. We also waited well over 30 minutes for our starters to be served and the same delay before our main courses arrived. We couldn't be bothered to wait for desserts. A lot of expense has been incurred in revamping the Frozen Mop and its a shame that the food is so disappointing. Everyone else I have spoken to locally is of the same opinion. There needs to be a big improvement if the Frozen Mop is to be serious competitior to its Mobberley rivals the Plough and Flail and Roebuck.
Frozen Mop – KnutsfordWe have dined here several times in recent weeks and have never been disappointed. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachWe visited this pub/restaurant on 30 Aug 2007 and people should know that it is no longer a Brewers Fayre but has had an extensive makeover and now serves delicious food. The menu is not very extensive but they are providing simple food which is well cooked. We both had fillet steak each of which was cooked as requested which is often not the case. The Mediterranean roast vegetables which we had with the steak were lovely. The service was friendly and efficient but not too over the top. It's not cheap but we thought it was good value for what we had. It's an old building in Mobberley but is now quite contemporary inside but it has been done sympathetically. We were there for our wedding anniversary but we won't be waiting another year to visit!
