I arrived wih a party of 21, which became 22 on the night (always one isn't there) from the local tai chi groups. Perforce, the meals were pre-ordered. Everything went without a hitch, and I had no unfavourable feed-back from anyone. You can please all the people all the time !!!

Birchwood Spice – WarringtonBefore going I had heard mixed things about the service not being great but I wanted to see for myself. The restaurant has a nice interior. We were given a £4.99 bottle of Prosecco from Aldi and charged £30 for it. We had a 40 minute wait for the food (there was only 4 other tables in) when the food did arrive there was no apology. The food was nice but it didn’t blow me away and I’ve had much nicer tapas in Macclesfield and Bollington. I emailed the restaurant to let them know how disappointed I was and I’ve heard nothing back. I will not be going back and I would not recommend.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldThe best afternoon tea we've ever had! The food was fantastic. I am dairy free so never expect anything amazing, but it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. The scones were warm and we even got a choice of jam. To top things off I asked for an oat milk hot chocolate and this was no problem at all. The waiter was very friendly and polite. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful grounds. We had a lovely afternoon. Thank You Mere Court Hotel.

Food was also brilliant very flavoursome. Have to say the cheese literally fell off the pizza every time. All presented beautifully. 5 star experience
