Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordBrought my friend for her 80th birthday for afternoon tea. Beautiful peaceful setting. Staff very helpful and attentive. Afternoon tea very nice with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Have been previously and cannot fault the place. Hope to come again very soon.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordChampagne afternoon tea booked but glass champagne only offered half way through tea after I reminded reception staff otherwise would not have been. Food was ok and service good. Would I return? Probably not given the initial misunderstanding.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordThe food was very good and it was great value for money but the service was disappointing. It appeared that regular visitors/locals got priortised and we were left waiting. Never got asked if another drink was required despite the glasses being empty and never asked whether we would like to see the desert menu when having to wait a while for the plates from our main course to be removed. Reviews were good hence the booking but left a little disappointed to be honest. Not one I'd rush back to
Pacino’s – ChesterMy wife and I have dined at The Carriers in years gone by and this visit was the first in seven years. We're so glad we had Sunday lunch with you - it was excellent! Booking was easy online, the staff couldn't be more welcoming and the Sunday roast of lamb was delightful. It was so tasty, washed down with an lovely bottle of Malbec, at a reasonable price. We both had room for pud and apple pie with lashings of custard was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife. I had the cherry bakewell sponge with a generous helping of custard - heavenly! We will definitely dine at The Carriers again - highly recommended.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamLovely place to eat, nice ambiance not too noisy and plenty of room between the tables. Service was very speedy, and no waiting for the food. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My husband had ice cream sundae for dessert and said it was the nicest ice cream he had ever tasted. I'd highly recommend.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyExcellent food and service the waiter was very jolly
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWent to The Tigers Head for Sunday lunch, the young staff were very polite and friendly, the food was excellent, I had the pork which was very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful original country pub.

Lilac at The Chestergate – MacclesfieldConsistently excellent
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldVisited The Cock Inn for lunch, their staff greeted us on arrival and showed us to our table. Excellent menu options and a specials board too. There were 5 in our party and we all chose different meals. Each dish arrived at the same time and was both delicious and hot. Five clean plates went back in to the kitchen. Couldn’t fault the service and food plus reasonably priced too.
The Cock – MacclesfieldLovely meal - delightful staff - attentive service - no rush. Perfect - we'll be back!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldLovely food, decor and atmosphere in the old back bar. Meme style small Italian plates are a really good idea.
The Tigers Head Country Pub and Dining – FrodshamThe afternoon tea was excellent and I hope to come again soon.

Birchwood Spice – WarringtonFood was good, we were ushered into ordering and was a rushed experience, was very nice still
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamWe visit Prestbury quite often and usually eat in Coast, decided to try Lilac Cottage for a change, have eaten there once or twice over the years and always had a nice experience. Quite disappointed in the service this time, a dark haired waitress approached us upon our arrival asking my husband if his name was Bill ?? Even though he had already given his name to her (as our booking name)… (not Bill) spoke only to my husband only and completely ignored myself. A more professional and polite waitress then arrived at our table and efficiently took our food and drinks order, the original waitress returned to our table with our drinks again asking my husband’s name, this time she asked if he was called Andy….. Again completely ignored myself. Totally inappropriate service from said waitress. Staff on the whole were ok as was the food, price was ok but have eaten better for less money. Will not be going back any time soon. Think some staff need up skilling in the customer service department. Quite a random experience from a random waitress….
