The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterFood excellent but thought we had a long wait for each course
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent food, Staff were friendly and accommodating. Really lovely night.
The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterFood was average. Service average and polite. Main concern was what seemed a private party between owner/employees & friends. Unprofessional & total disregard for paying customers. When dining I would expect to be able to hold a conversation without shouting! Not for me again.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldFriendly professional service, amazing cocktails in a uniquely stylish setting … great food and surprise birthday cake for my daughter. (They’d picked up it being her birthday, we hadn’t gone armed with balloons and such nonsense). Always a bit of a special treat.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyGreat place - fantastic staff - really looked after.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldTerrific restaurant with an excellent range of menu items, all of which are imaginative and well-prepared. Bacchus has a great ambience without the intrusion of background music. And it’s all capped off with knowledgeable and attentive service.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldHigh quality food and service again.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonDelightful restaurant. Friendly very efficient staff and the food is amazing.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldLovely food and lovely service such a nice cosy place right near Delamere Forrest. We had the Sunday roast and it was gorgeous, generous portions and really tasty. Would definitely visit again.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamAmazing food and service on Sunday afternoon. Every single dish from the house salad to the sirloin steak and everything in between was a delight!! Ray, is a great host xx
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldThis restaurant is the best for miles around, food is always wonderful, lovely staff, great atmosphere.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldFood was fantastic and lots of it. Nice to have lamb as roast option. Great Sunday roast. Only issue was after drinks quickly arrived no one took food order and we had to ask for it to be taken. After we gave in order food arrived very quickly though.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonSunday lunch was awful! Chicken was dry and lamb seamed like it was out of a packet. Roast potatoes uncooked and had no colour. Gravy was nice though. Pudding wasn’t much better with the chocolate moose being more like a slop! Think it needed a few more hours in the fridge to set. Service wasn’t the best. Is it uniform for all the staff to wear PVC and have their stomachs on show?! Think some lessons in customer service are in order and also noting staff not to pass hot plates and gravy over the head of child in a highchair or placing them down directly in front of a child in a highchair while telling you it’s hot!! Such as shame as we only live down the road but won’t be returning!
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortIf you’re looking for a nice cosy place to go with your dog, with warm service and delicious food, then this is your place to go! Had a fantastic meal and staff were really friendly! Highly recommend :)
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamFabulous! Amazing service, food a d ambience. Staff are so atentative, professional and knowledgeable about the food and wine.
