Had a lovely Xmas lunch yesterday. Super setting overlooking the Mere, in the warmth of the dining area. Good portions, and presented well. Only let down was the 2-course Xmas lunch price of £22.95 did not appear on the receipt. Each course was itemised separately and charged accordingly. Perhaps something to be identified at the till. Apart from that, lovely relaxed lunch. Shall be back in the summer, with the dig, so we can sit in the garden.

Absolutely wonderful Christmas lunch for 12 ladies. From booking, ordering, welcome arrival, food, service. Everything was just great. A lovely country pub serving restaurant quality food. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable throughout. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff are so efficient, kind and professional. A real pleasure. Thanks From all of us at Creative Roots Workshops art group. We will be back.

Had another great afternoon tea at Mere Court with friends for a Christmas treat. We have been many times and always have great service in very pleasant surroundings. Purchased on Groupon so great value highly recommend. What very decadent way to spend an afternoon and hopefully we will return soon.

Starters and dessert were very tasty but beef daube was very mediocre and not worth the money at all.

Came for my birthday meal was very quiet which was nice. But unfortunately the food was not great the patatas bravas were undercooked and the chicken was very chewy and hard. Lovely atmosphere and wine but would never eat here again. Im hoping they just had a bad night.

Excellent food, really good value. Service very friendly and helpful but a little slow at times. Shame people got a bit chilly as the afternoon went on. Would have been nice if the stove had been lit. Will go again.

Excellent and broad menu, spoiled for choice. Our meals were very tasty and well cooked and presented. Although not a busy night the restaurant was warm and the service excellent. An enjoyable night.

Food was ok starter I had a goats cheese tart the pastry seemed burnt but, the rest of the food was nice. Had to ask for a side plate and wine glass to be changed as they were both duty.

Friendly country pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Food is excellent especially their Italian dishes and Sunday lunch.

Another lovely meal at Bacchus, a little gem of a restaurant in Prestbury. Menu choice was good, food beautifully presented & very tasty with great service by attentive staff. Restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening - with a great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend and we will return.

What a fantastic time we had at The Carriers Arms. Lovely fresh hot food and good size portions, brilliant staff members who give you very warm welcome as soon as you open the door. We visited for a Sunday lunch, the pub was very busy but did not affect the service. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area, I would book if going for the Sunday lunch. Five star from us.

Enjoyed a lovely festive afternoon tea with friends. A good selection of food with great service and beautiful surroundings. Great value for money, will definitely return.

First visit to Elmas on Sunday and it was wonderful. Friendly, attentive staff, fabulous quality food, chilled atmosphere and reasonable prices. We dont live in the area, only visiting, however very impressed and will definitely book again the next time we're due to come to Lymm. Thanks very much!

First time, very busy restaurant but service was excellent, cocktails and food delicious. I would probably go midweek next time as full of family’s on a weekend, this did not detract from the evening. Will return very soon
