The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldSo very happy to return here again to this exquisite Cheshire inn, ()not Staffordshire as quoted !) We were served by the effervescent and charming James who really was the most brilliant waiter. The food was, as always is, sheer brilliance and all washed down with a Wincle Brewery beer. Sublime and bucolic sum up this enchanting venue and we continue to wish Jim and Christione well in promoting their pub. Loved the fact we can now book on line. The services offered just get better and better. Thank you!
The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldFood was wonderful as always. Service is always friendly and professional. Staff always have a chat.
Birchwood Spice – WarringtonFood is always fantastic and the service great, highly recommend.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleySunday lunch, expensive for two coursers, but very good, staff attentive, drinks can be expensive. Poor choice of back ground music and quite loud. Overall, a good experience.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyAmazing, authentic food in beautiful surroundings, this building doesn’t need embellishment and the simplicity is soothingly calm. Fantastic service from charming and attentive staff, the owner is engaging and a real people person. It was incredibly warm and he moved our table outside for us to cool off! Our wine was wonderful and not overpriced. Marvellous.
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterLovely afternoon tea. Service & Staff excellent.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordUsual high quality offering. I had beef tartare and selection of shellfish. I have had moules mariniere in many restaurants around the world but I have to say the ones at Bacchus were the best! Excellent silver service but with a friendly twist always happy to share a laugh. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always flexible to accommodate any request. Not too noisy or crammed together so it was easy to have table conversation. We finished the meal with a generous cheese board and a port. A meal to remember!!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldBeautiful food and outstanding service. Outdoor area is lovely with a buzzing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldIt was lovely to be back at Mere Court where we had our Wedding Breakfast 10 years ago. This time, we celebrated the Birthday of our Gran from Austria and enjoyed a delicious Afternoon Tea: The table was beautifully set, the staff was very friendly and helpful as always, the food was outstanding. Best fresh scones ever!! Our "Birthday Girl" got a specially prepared plate for the occasion as we mentioned it when booking the table. After tea we went for a walk on the grounds - such beautiful gardens, lovely for all generations! Highly recommended - we will be back sooner than later!
Mere Court Restaurant – Knutsford1st time at elmas, loved it. Food was extremely tasty and glad we booked and got in early as it was very busy by 7.30. It was lovely having the doors open on a summer evening but could see the smokers outside being an issue if we were sat closer, atmosphere was lovely and the waiter was great too.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmGreat food, tasty but steak was a little over cooked for medium rare for my taste, have been a few times over the years and never had a bad meal and service is always good. Will return once saved enough money to treat ourselves as expensive.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyHad a lovely meal the food was very authentic what you would expect in Rome. Took 2 Italian friends and they loved it as well
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterMy favourite restaurant, the food was excellent, service great, had a lovely birthday dinner.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyShort notice booking for a Saturday evening. 3 x Adults. When making a drinks order there was a distinct lack of most things. No lager on tap, no Estrella no Brahma, I ended up with a bottle of Moretti, (not my favourite). My son asked for a Jamesons Orange, none in the house. Luckily my wife wanted a soft drink and was amazed when they had some. My son ordered the pinwheel steak. None available. The food, that arrived was good, but if we had known there was a shortage of our favoured drink, we would have gone elsewhere.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldStaff really friendly & accommodating Fund was lovely We will return
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLovely friendly staff , great food and ambience. Highly recommended x
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamMy daughter and I were celebrating and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or as attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after so well. Great food and lovely cocktails. Highly recommend.
