A bit quiet for a Friday night, but food was great and service excellent
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortBeautiful afternoon tea great staff great service
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordI went to Salt bar yesterday evening with 3 friends. We all had different meals which were all delicious. The wine was also spot on and beautifully chilled. The service was great as well. Would highly recommend
The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldChosen for location but sorely lacking in atmosphere - very few tables occupied. Fish and chips was ok but needed a bigger plate and fish was a bit dry/overcooked. Sauvignon blanc by the glass was also pretty average. Hunters chicken looked good. Lots of car parking.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortFantastic service and food quality, world happily dine there again!
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamWe had two meals with our stay at the hotel and both meals were superb The three courses were beautifully served and the best meals we have had At a hotel in a long time the service was great food very hot and delicious We had a great stay
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordEat here regularly and both the service and food never fails to impress. There is a set menu that changes all the time, as well as A la Carte and they are always happy to make changes, even make something that may not even be on the menu if they have the ingredients. The service is excellent - always make you feel very welcome. For such a fantastic restaurant the prices are very reasonable. Cannot wait until our next visit.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldThe service was good, the waitress very pleasant. The afternoon tea was good except we were served whipped cream instead of clotted cream for the scones and the finger sandwiches were made with cheap bread that wasn’t fresh. Another pointer is the receptionist obviously has your booking on her screen. So why announce to the world “is it a Groupon deal”? She could request to see email confirmation or printed confirmation. No need to mention Groupon. Its not helpful for the hotel either. People think if they are on Groupon they must be struggling.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordExcellent service , great food our third visit and we will be back soon
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely evening, great service and food. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe went to Antalya Bistro for Fathers Day and it was great! The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant was fabulous and the food was extremely tasty. My mum and I especially enjoyed the signature Turkish delight cocktail. Will definitely be eating here again, looking forward to trying other dishes! Would also recommend the Baklava for dessert!
Antalya Bistro – Ellesmere PortGreat food and service despite the pub being very busy due to father's day and Delamere concerts. Will definitely go back.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamLovely afternoon tea for Father’s Day
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordHad a fabulous Sunday roast , food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The bar and dining areas were clean and had a lovely fresh feel. The menu had a great mix of traditional and Italian style food. Will definitely be booking again.
The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterAfternoon Tea was wonderful in pleasant dining area, service excellent , food was very nice and the venue is very nice in loverly surroundings, would recommend to anybody.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordService was brilliant Staff are so attentive without being intrusive Souffles were perfect Meat very fresh Staff kindly went out of their way to cater for my fussy husband, providing fish and chips which weren’t on main menu The only slight disappointment was that the deep fried fish was a little dry and chewy!! However Bacchus remains best restaurant in the village and we would highly recommend the dining experience Thanks to all
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldVery welcoming, a lovely family. Super Scallops starter, Over salted fish dish for mains. Hen night came in and we were left with the youngsters as #waiters They did well... considering. Atmoshere okay, a little pricey.
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterCan’t believe it took us so long to visit this diamond of a restaurant. The menu may be smaller but the flavours are mighty with enough selection to please every palate. We started with Prawn Skagen and the specials Cauli Filo rolls which were both very tasty, I could’ve just eaten a plate of the Cauli rolls! We then had the specials feta & strawberry salad and the spring cabbage leaves. The salad was so light and fresh with delicious strawberries, green beans and feta, very summery. The cabbage leaves filled with quinoa, peas, miso garlic mushrooms on a broad bean mash with maple and soy was just superb. We shared every course and took a rhubarb streusel home for our daughter as it was GF. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Macclesfield. Thank you Jo for a wonderful meal, we will be back!
