Lovely atmosphere and great food - the staff were very busy and a request for vinegar & tartar sauce never materialised but the apologies were very genuine. We felt really looked after and it was excellent value for money

By far this is the best Italian restaurant we have had the pleasure of dinning in since our honeymoon in Rome. Wonderful authentic Italian food. The service was wonderful, with Sam paying such attention to detail and being a wonderful host. We will be back for another amazing meal soon!

Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterMy husband and myself came here recently for a meal for his 40th birthday and the food and service were perfect! The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing and super fresh! The service was amazing and could not fault anything, we were looked after so well and would not hesitate to recommend anyone we know to come here and would love to book in again if we ever revist chester.
