Pheasant Inn – Chesteralways enjoy our visit but disappointed when we are a party of seven and find three diners sitting at a table meant for seven or more perhaps staff should guide diners to suitable table.potential diners should approach staff to be shown suitable table so that larger parties are catered for otherwise they will go elsewhere. menu and food is too good to miss
The step in is has good quality food me and my boyfriend go there a lot ands my mum and dad have been going there for years!!!
Step In India – ChesterThe Siam restaurant has a Japanese restaurant on the ground floor and Thai on the 1st floor. I have been to both several times, and definitely rate the Thai restaurant as one of the best I have been to in the North West. Slightly above average prices compared with other Thai restaurants in the area, but worth it. The Japanese area has several Teppan Yaki tables, where chefs cook in front of you. If you know your Japanese food (and I do, I studied and travelled in Japan), then be prepared, the chefs are not Japanese, and the tricks a bit lame at times. Its good fun with a group, but if you want real Japanese food there are better places to go in Manchester for example. I'd go for the Thai every time myself.
Siam Thai and Teppanyaki – ChesterGood meal, the best in Chester
Summer Palace – Chestera bit dark and cramped inside. but the food makes up for this, outstanding, service was very good as well. not the best place for a family meal but a great bet for a friends night out.
Fiesta Havana – Chesteri visited the "toby carvery" on a sunday for a carvery roast the chefs are on hand to slice up any of turkey, pork or gammon. they are a little tight-fisted on the meat, but you get as much veg, gravy and sauce as you like. its a real feast!
Toby Carvery Hoole Village – ChesterOn a wet Saturday night in January my husband and I enjoyed a really good meal here, it lifted our spirits. The food could be described as good home cooking, provided you come from a family that knows about good food!! The service was charming and I would not hesitate to bring the most critical person to this tiny restaurant. The boys deserve to do well, they are offering a good service and I hope that they are part of the Chester scene for a very long time. I look forward to returning soon.
Joseph Benjamin – ChesterBest restaurant ever and the people there are lovely! Go there regularly and have been since I was born! 13 years ago love it would eat there every night if I could!!!!
Cherry Valley Eating House – ChesterThis is a first class eating place. I have, through my employment, eaten in oriental restaurants all over UK and Europe, this is the best.
Shanghai Restaurant – ChesterVery attentive service, easy parking, pleasant surroundings, this restaurant was recommended by some friends as we come from Leeds West Yorks. I would definitely dine there again when we are next in the area and would tell anyone else to try it too! Excellent food! A must for Indian food lovers!
Village Indian The – ChesterLovely spot for mid-morning coffee. becomes a good value tasty restaurant by night. early evening menu very good.
Katie’s Tea Rooms (By Day) – ChesterWe had a meal with our 3 children. One of the meals had a little bit of plastic foil in it - not too bad but still worth pointing out. The manager then decided to give us that meal and another one free, which was excellent service. The food was good, we had a great time.
Frankie and Bennys – ChesterVery good deal for a Sunday buffet. ~ However would avoid if you prefer non-smoking places as it is only small and has smoking available throughout. Food is generally very good and price is fantastic. Friendly service.
Cafe Naj – ChesterEnjoy beautiful scenery, lovely food, relaxed atmosphere at this gem in Cheshire.
Pheasant Inn – ChesterHad a fab time here at the weekend with the girls - few cocktails and nibbles it was really good fun, good mix of people and the music was nice but not intrusive - we could actually have a conversation! In a bar!!!
