I went along to the new terrace it was a lovely spot, I enjoyed their express lunch outside in the sunshine, which only cost £8.95.

Convivio – ChesterI expect more for that price, although everything was ok and nothing more...
Ristorante Sergio – ChesterFantastic Fresh Italian cocktails, great service and very tasty food. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air to Chester. You can dine, drink and dance till two in the morning. A great night in one venue! My husband and I had one of the best nights we have had in a long time.
Bollicini – ChesterA pub with great character and charm, which has been mainly transformed to provide adequate dining space - at the cost of lounge seating space for only drinking. A truly English and traditional menu serving game and other British favourites. This is a great little pub if you want to get away from the usual hustle and bustle of the more commercial pubs, with food being cooked from fresh. There is also a selection of specials available. The pub also offers a selection of wines and beers. We had the steak and mushroom pie which came with a healthy portion of tasty mash and veg on the side. The meal portions are very generous and it takes a hungry person to finish one off (especially after a starter) the dessert menu is very satisfying and scrumptious too. Well worth a visit.
Bunbury Arms – ChesterDon't be put off by the prices as the food and drink is worth EVERY penny! We went for a romantic birthday meal and it was wonderful. The staff are professional, friendly and really informative about the food, the atmosphere is relaxed while classy, and the food was simply devine. Chester has been my home for many years and I am really pleased that we now have somewhere like this in the centre of town.
Upstairs At The Grill – Chester14 February 2006. Fabulous meal great price great atmosphere. Would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. Nice helpful staff. One of the best meals we have for a long time. We were a party of 4 who will certainly be visiting this restaurant again. Many thanks to all.
Carriages Restaurant – ChesterThis is a fantastic place for that special meal, have eaten here a few times and stayed at the hotel. The restaurant serves little extras, i.e. canapés, and teeny bowls of soup as appetisers, which are 'complimentary', lovely venue.
Rowton Hall – ChesterExcellent service provided by Chris - the very friendly assistant manager. Really great place to go to eat, and you must try those cocktails. We had one too many!
Bollicini – ChesterAlthough the decor is a bit basic Italian the food is always good. Great for an inexpensive mid-week meal out. Good selection of wines. Watch out for the flaming Sambuca's!
Ristorante Sergio – Chesterexcellent, been coming for about 10 years, live about 42 miles away but defo worth a visit. must try the OLD STYLE BALTI..not on menu as old style but just ask its amazing very very flavoured, sweet, spicy creamy...yummy. service great too. its a must.
The Chester Tandoori – ChesterThis place is excellent for everyone and the food is great! I definitely recommend this restaurant! Its service is fabulous!
Frankie and Bennys – ChesterAs it was a Saturday night I booked ahead to ensure a table for four but I think people were able to get seats of the street. The service and food were very good. I can recommend the Green Curry and Sweet & Sour King Prawn. All had starters, drinks main meals and coffees to finish. The cost was about £30/Head. We were there for about three hours so you don't fee rushed at all. Highly recommended.
Ruan Orchid – ChesterI was very impressed with this place. The food was excellent and whilst the prices aren't the cheapest they have a few special offers which can make it a bargain!
Convivio – ChesterWe went to their Sunday buffet and it was fantastic. You still get a good range of choices from their buffet menu and you get poppadoms, starters, rice, naan, main dish and side dish for about £6 per person! I definitely recommend it!
Cafe Naj – ChesterFour of us went to Moules a Go Go after the races in June. It was perfect after a hard days betting. Relaxed and comfortable, excellent food and very pleasant staff. Would definitely go again. Might try their lunch time specials. Well done Moules.
Moules A Go-Go – ChesterHad a pre-wedding meal here, and it was excellent. The food was superbly presented, wine selection was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Rowton Hall – ChesterWent on a Tuesday night, as it's 2 courses and a bottle of wine each (!) for £14. The place was packed and had a great atmosphere. The food and service were excellent had mussels for starter and seabass for main and there? a good choice, pudding was £3 extra so had a lovely brulee. Would highly recommend but would advise booking as we just turned up at 8.30 & got the last table which was unfortunately right by the door
Chez Jules – ChesterThe whole evening was very rushed, but I suppose that is necessary these days, the food was excellent, though a bit minimal. I think they are trying to cater to too many people and the focus is on the door.
Chez Jules – ChesterMidweek Menu: 2 courses for £15.
