The Halfway House – ChorleyI am a regular visitor here and every time we enjoy a good meal. With a huge choice on the menu and draught indian lagers, the hyatt offers one of the best curries around.
The Hyatt – ChorleyGreat atmosphere, real fire and tea light candles dotted about the place. Friendly, welcoming staff, food absolutely wonderful ! Cannot fault the place at all.
Yew Tree Inn – ChorleyWe regularly eat here, either just my girlfriend and I or sometimes the whole family. We mainly go during happy hour (5.30pm - 6.30pm) where you can get a full-size pizza or pasta dish for less than a fiver. The drinks are reasonably priced as well. The places is usually busy and I would strongly recommend booking for Friday & Saturday nights as we have arrived a couple of times at 6pm and been told the next available table was 9pm! The food is of a consistently high standard and there is an 'open' kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. We have been more than half a dozen times now and each time the food has been excellent, as has the price! Highly recommended.
Parmesan And Pepper – ChorleyGreat for lunch, well priced with generous portions. Also been in the evening. The menu is varied, with a great specials board. Better than the usual pub fare, and better than the establishment run by the same . hotel chain in another part of Chorley Tends to be busy, but service good. Has an outside seating area adjacent to the canal, wonderful when the weather is pleasant.
The Malthouse Farm – ChorleyReally nice straightforward Italian food in this small restaurant. Nice atmosphere over looking the duck pond and fountain in the middle of Ecclestone. Not outstanding, but nothing wrong with it either.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAbsolutely fantastic little ice cream parlour, the ice cream and atmosphere is so good that there is still a queue to the door on cold November evenings!! Sometimes stop here when out for a ride on my motorbike, the banana boat is the best, lol
Frederick’s Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Bar – ChorleyAbsolutely fantastic little ice cream parlour, the ice cream and atmosphere is so good that there is still a queue to the door on cold November evenings!! Sometimes stop here when out for a ride on my motorbike, the banana boat is the best, lol
Frederick’s Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Bar – ChorleyBeen to this pub 8 times with different people every one loved it the menu is the best I have ever seen. a must for every one
Plough Inn – ChorleyThis is a superb restaurant. I've eaten in many of the best, and this is equal or better than most, including some of the big names. I feel that this should be in all the good food guides. Well done to James Ford for making our evening one to be remembered for my wife, my guests and me!
Truffles – ChorleyI had my hen night with Boatel only last night and had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and polite. We were consulted on what type of music we wanted. We played games, everyone had a great time. Wonderful! Will be booking a daytime cruise for my daughter's birthday!
Boatel Party Cruises – ChorleyWe eat at the Blue Elephant at least once a week, both the food and service are outstanding. The staff are trained to a very high standard & are also very friendly. The restaurant itself has a contemporary feel throughout & is an easy place to relax! The food is freshly prepared, portions are generous & presented to a high standard. Overall a night at the Blue Elephant is a second to none dining experience!
The Elephant – ChorleyWe thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary meal here and would definitely return, The best Indian restaurant we have been to with excellent service.
The Elephant – ChorleyI eat there two or three times a week which reflects how i feel about the restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is extremely friendly and efficient. It's the first place i would think of to take a guest out for a meal. If you like contemporary Indian food then i would strongly recommend you try this restaurant as you will not be disappointed.
The Elephant – ChorleyThis is by far the nicest Indian cuisine i have ate in a long time! I have also been to their other restaurant near to Southport and that was equally as good. The waiters are very good, always smiling and the service is efficient. Very tasty cuisine and worth every penny. Great if you have a celebration or just for a meal for two. The only down side when i went was it was extremely busy and the waiting time for a table was a bit long, however it was worth the wait, will be back soon!!!!!!
The Elephant – ChorleyThe sundaes here are immense! the best ive ever tasted! there are an abundance of flavours to choose from and all sorts of sauces and concoctions to have such as rum donut sundaes, after eights to name a few. You have to try it!!!

Frederick’s Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Bar – ChorleyMy Wife and I have dined here on numerous occasions, and will continue to do so for many years to come. The service is outstanding. The only problem with the place is the menu is just too good!! I can highly recommend the black pudding starters, the fillet steak (which the chef tells me is sourced locally) literally melts in your mouth and is always cooked to perfection no matter what your taste, and the trio of desserts is a perfect way to end what is always a perfect evening. I pity the people who have never been!
