The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyCan't believe how hit & miss this pub is. It must depend on who is doing the cooking. As in the past it was ok. but recent visits the meat is as been not fit for a dog & the house wine is cheap plonk very dissapointed a nice pub going down hill fast not worth the money for poor quallity
Plough Inn – ChorleyOut of date restaurant ,dark and dinghy, awful food{soup tasteless like wallpaper paste.roast beef packet sliced with a bland gravy that sets} cutlery and furniture looks like it came from an auction. Needs total revamp.
Amelies – ChorleyLove Lucianos at the Millstone every time we go. Went last night & totally relaxed as always. Food is fabulous, when ordering a steak it is always cooked exactly right, just what you ask for. Service & the staff are very attentive but not over the top, just right. The cocktails are spectacular. Always feels special when we go to Lucianos. Thanks for making this a lovely Easter weekend x
Luciano’s At The Millstone – ChorleyRegular visitor, food wonderful very reasonably priced. Staff and service excellent lovely friendly and cosy atmosphere.
The Black Horse – ChorleyWe have been to La Casa de Salsa about four times since it opened and have always enjoyed the food and the experience. On our most recent visit however, the food was very disappointing, so sadly we will not be returning.
La Casa de Salsa – Chorleymanager/ owner is really friendly and funny, staff are fairly efficeint and friendly, you can see the kitchen from the restaurant which gives a nice open feel. It's always busy with a fun atmosphere. Food is good, drinks are v pricey, parking is adequate. Sadly you can't tip your waiter as they pool all tips with all staff incl management/ cleaners etc. Makes me reluctant to tip as I prefer to tip directly and proportionately to how well I was served and looked after. Love it here though and I go on a regular basis.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyExcellent value for money and staff very polite and helpful
The Field Fare – ChorleyReally nice food plenty of it had the 2 courses for 8.95 Sunday roast the plates was groaning with food the sweet was heaven the service we could not fault will eat there again.
The Travellers Rest – ChorleyI've just had my first experience of, an all you can eat grill and steak house meal. Very impressed with the service, quality and quantity of food for £22. £17 on the early bird menu. Clean, friendly, attentive, delicious food. Could not have asked for more.
Skewers – ChorleyBeen going to this restaurant since it got taken over about 2 years and I go there around once a month and I most say that its one of the best Indians around. They have a dish called the mark bottomley special in memory of mark bottomoley which you have to try.I
Bay Leaves – ChorleyVery nice place a little expensive not a place to end the night but a place to start your night few cocktails and maybe a meal before hitting the rest of town. food is fab and definitely would reccommed people to try a few cocktails :))
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyBest restaurant in Chorley! My family, friends and I regularly eat at the Italian Cottage. The menu caters for everyone's tastes at reasonable prices. They do a special 3 course meal deal on Thursday and Sundays as well as a pizza/pasta deal on Wednesdays. The service and friendliness of the staff are what makes it such a good place to eat. They always try and accommodate any requests you may have and nothing is too much trouble. My advice would be to book in advance as it is a very popular restaurant..
Italian Cottage – ChorleyI booked my sons 8th birthday here and was very impressed so i booked a night cruise. They're adult cruises are a great laugh. We danced the night away. I will certainly return
Boatel Party Cruises – ChorleyPoor staff, rude and disorganised! Do not order anything that isn't pub food. Tried the "Thia green noodles" absolutely awful. Waiter could clearly see a full plate of food left and did not ask how the meal was. not even a check up during the meal. Paid for a meal that was not eaten and took ages to come. Went with a friend who's a manager of a well known pub/restaurant in preston, will not being going back!
The Lock & Quay – ChorleyWent to view a menu with a view to returning for lunch today. It seemed a nice place. BUT, the lady that was outside tinkering in a car (the owner?) spoke to us like we were about the rob the place. The way she spoke to my fiance and I was rude and insulting. She put us off ever returning again. We only strolled across to see what time it was opening at and to see if a menu was on display but we were told its shut and no menus were on display, her tone was dreadful, we left in a hurry. Don't think we'll ever go back there again!!!!
Yew Tree Inn – ChorleyThe wine was extremely palatable and served at a good temperature, the waitress was well presented pleasant and helpful albeit she didn't have a knowledge of some of the dishes content and surprisingly the chef was unable to give her the information either!. However the food lacked lustre as although a couple of the dishes eg. the slow cooked lamb were tasty the majority were poorly presented, tepid and some eg the gambas were overcooked. Sadly overall it was mediocre, at the best, and not an experience I would choose to repeat.
La Casa de Salsa – ChorleyNot only does the beaumont have very good food, the beer if you are a real ale fan is the best in Clayton le Woods bar none.
