Food, staff, atmosphere and service were all excellent! Really appreciated the great food offer too! Only disappointment was no desserts available. Maybe next time as there definitely will be a next time

I couldn't find the confirmation email at the time as it was in my junk box so we were turned away at first, but then I looked on the website at bookings and could see there was still availability for 2 at 6pm so the squeezed us in. There must have been an issue with the booking system for that time. So giving service a 3 for that reason but everything else was fantastic.

The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonPleased with the foodin general , my Wife being from Inida and her Mother from South India we were really looking forward to it. Restaurant itself nice ambience and very fast service. We had the Vada followed by a Masala Dosa, the vada to be honest were a bit solid and "doughy" but OK and the Sambar tasted just like my wifes although we did expect more indian vegetables like yard long beans, bhindi (okra) in it. Spices perfect, I jokingly accused them of stealing her recipe! The Dosa was lovely particularly enjoyed the coconut chutney. It was after leaving and driving home that we began discussing the overall evening and came to the following conclusions...good but Vada need attention and on reflection quite overpriced for what it is, We know how cheap it is to make those dishes and £18.30 each for 4 rather small and hard Vada and a Masala Dosa is frankly way, way over the top. That and £4.65 for a 330ml beer??? On top of that a 10% service charge I paid £50.27 for what were 2 street food snacks each and a small beer each. We were very enthusiastic at firstbecause we had not eaten Keralan food out in a long time but we are going to try other places to look for better Value, living in Worsley we are not far from Bolton so going to try one there next.

The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonThis was our first time visiting The Drop Bar Car cafe. We had been told by friends not to expect great service. We waited forty minutes for our drinks and food order to be taken, as did the table next to us. This was after the woman next to us had been inside twice to ask for them to take our order. There were only three staff waiting on and they ignored everyone outside and focused on the customers inside. The food was amazing, which is why it is so disappointing that the service let the experience down. I would encourage you to visit, as long as you are not in a rush and are very patient people.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonMy husband and I had the most amazing food here yesterday. I had the hench box with peppered steak and stewed chicken - was sooo good. Husband had chicken chop box, we also got mac & cheese (THE BEST EVER) and a side of chips. Even better that is was 50% i even enjoyed a free cocktail then bought another one because it was so delicious (and im not a fan of cocktails usually) . We will definitely return. Staff are so friendly and welcoming too!

From the cosy seating are “outside” to the lovely 2 staff members (young lads) and not to mention the food!! Absolutely incredible!! Tried during the 50% off offer but will definitely be going back whether the offer is on or not.

Mumbai Tiffin Room – ChorltonVisted 1st time on New Years day. Not disappointed. Had hench box, with curry goat & chops rice & dumplings & steamed veg. Absolutely lush. Finished off with homemade brownie. Didn't know but in January meals half-price result .Definitely go again
