Dougy’s Uptown – ChorltonWhat's not to like about Mary and Archie's! the best burger I have had in a long time, minced steak on brioche. a lovely relaxed quirky vibe, nice tunes, a good selection of beers real and craft oh and a dog!
Mary and Archie – ChorltonAmazing. Heard lots of good things about it and visted for the first time last night. it was even better than expected. Delicious (authentic) pizza, great service, friendly, welcoming and warm atmosphere (literally - wood oven). and extremely good value. I can't recommend highly enough. It's now my no. 1 eatery in Chorlton and there are lots of them round here!
Double Zero – ChorltonFood - Fantastic. Service - Fantastic. Lovely atmosphere - would highly recommend.
Bar San Juan – ChorltonMeat feast at Zaytoon tonight! Yummy!
Zaytoon – Chorltonlovely tapas and wine on my partners birthday last night. Great spot.
Bar San Juan – ChorltonNot been yet. Trying to book a table for tomorrow at 6pm. Could you give me ring please. For six people. Will write a review when we've been. Heard good reports.
Double Zero – ChorltonThis place was amazing. Really good value, and you BYOB to which is even better! Highly recommended.
Double Zero – ChorltonI can't rave about this place enough! This is simply the way all specialist pizza places should be. Amazing, locally sourced ingredients, talented chef, friendly staff
Double Zero – ChorltonVery disappt to learn that non veggie stuff served here in a veggie restaurant. Staff claim to be treated badly by management. Will not use again. Voting with the power tool. My custom!
1847 Vegetarian Bistro & Bar – ChorltonProbably the best, most atmospheric, authentic and friendly tapas bar of great food and on the most popular road (no streets here) in Chorlton.
Clearly some of these reviewers have never eaten proper Italian food! Main courses were more like a 2for £8 joint! Sure the free olives were nice but what's the point when the chef can't even do a pepper source properly.
Due Fratelli – ChorltonWell average!!! We ordered fish starters..tiny potions and not fresh, tasteless. The mains were ok I guess but for the money I'm afraid you can get much better these days...Akbars for eg? They should go there to see how it's done!
Coriander – ChorltonLove this place. Being a celiac it’s often hard to find places that cater for my needs but menu has a good selection. I went for a delicious tuna nicoise and also got an equally tasty pudding (lovely fruit salad with sorbet). I went with a party of 8 and we all commented on how friendly the staff were to us (they managed to find us a table on very short notice on a busy Sunday.) The staff went above and beyond for our party and we will be returning very soon.
Horse and Jockey – ChorltonVisited this fantastic little place last friday for lunch. Service was warm and friendly. I love the decor of this cool neighbourhood joint, right on the money. I had an amazing pizza, in fact I have been thinking about it since, hence the review still being fresh in my mind a whole week later. I chose a pork, pineapple chutney and baked egg pizza. It sounded quite out there, but it all worked in perfect harmony. The best bit though was the fact that they put the CRACKLING on the pizza too!! Genius, pure genius move by the chef here. I never ever thought I would have pork crackling on a pizza, and even writing it, it sounds wrong, but seriously it was amazing. I urge anyone anywhere near Chorlton to get in here for a pizza, it was (as my 10 year old would say) EPIC!!
The Laundrette – ChorltonAte here for the first time on Tuesday , seen the place many times and never tried , their service was friendly the restaurant is lovely and the food is stunning , proper hidden gem this place you must try!
Due Fratelli – ChorltonI went to this restaurant last Monday night with my wife and two sons. We were made very welcome by an Irish waiter he was very nice and full off chat. He explained too us about the 2 for 1 offer been on the pizza and pasta on Monday and Tuesday. We had garlic bread and soap for starters and this took no time too come out. Then we had pasta and pizza for our main course and this was very nice and very enjoyable. This was great value for money and we will defo come back. Thanks too the waiter for making us very welcome we hope too see you all very soon agin..
