Due Fratelli – ChorltonSuperb food at good prices. Incredibly tasty. Takeaway service works very well too. We tend to have about 6 or 7 starters to share instead of a main. Lebanese tapas!
Nectar Bistro – ChorltonWhat a find Due Fratelli is!! Booked a family birthday dinner for 8 on a May Bank holiday and had a fabulous evening!. The restaurant feels authentic Italian, the food was superb, everyone enjoyed their choice from a vast menu of starters, main and dessert - we even had a birthday cake!. The Service was PERFECT, friendly, attentive - really couldn't ask for more - a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you so much :)
Due Fratelli – ChorltonWhere do we start. Never tried Lebanese food before but think we might be booking a table at Nectar Bistro again very soon and recommending to family and friends. We were able to see the menu online before booking our table and had an idea what we might expect. The flavours were both delightful and delicate and went beyond our expectations. The owner, his lovely wife and staff were very helpful and attentive. Cannot fault our experience of this very well presented restaurant and again the menu was comprehensive and well explained both on the website and in the restaurant menu. Thank you to Nicky for her helpful explanation of our choice of menu and her friendly and attentive manner.
Nectar Bistro – ChorltonAbsolutely amazing! Loved the service
Hookahs – ChorltonWe decided to have a meal out on Easter Monday evening. Never having tried this restaurant before. on the first floor, about 100 covers i think, bigger than i expected inside, and we were directed to a table in the windows, very nice place. There is an excellent menu choice. The staff were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were not rushed between courses, the food was excellent - steak diane cooked perfectly. who didn't dined here yet we would highly recommend you give it a try - we are sure you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be going again.
Lusitano – ChorltonFabulous food. Owner Darum, couldn't do enough for us. Never had Turkish wine before, but it was absolutely gorgeous! I'll be back!
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonIt is the best tasting curry I have had in manchester for a long time. Used to go from cholrton to the Great Katmandu as thought that was the best, now just pop in here as it is round the corner. Goat curry delicious. Order well in advance as it takes some time to make them which is a good sign. Really really good. Found by accident.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonI've been to a few Indian restaurant and curry houses in Didsbury and Chorlton and can honestly say That Tandoori Flame offered the best tasting food of the lot. I couldn't believe the quality of the food for the price. (it was actually fair) I think the Chef and front of house staff must have good hearts. couldn't recommend it enough. beautiful food.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonI ate there last night. They said that the two for one deal was not on in December so I had to pay the full price even though it's advertised on Sugarvine. Bit of a swizz. Also the food was not great - chips overcooked, fish over-battered ! I gather they have now been taken over by Holts so hopefully things will improve. It also smells of dogs.
Horse and Jockey – ChorltonWent here for a drink and a little bite to eat the other day, food was nice, had a variety of empanadas mm v tasty and freshly cooked. It has a nice warm atmosphere. Though I think it confused a lot of people passing by as from the outside it feels and seems like a restaurant, but only has a small menu of tapas options (obviously styled in the south amerian/spanish vibe) it feels v comfortable but I think it will be confusing to a lot of parsers by and a lot of British dinners not tuned into the concept of going for a drink and having a nibble at the bar when you feel like it, instead of going for a massive pub meal. I think it has a good future and with Chirango gone it could do well, if they had latin music nights with djs etc and maybe added a little more smaller options to the menu. And got the vibe right between Bar and restaurant maybe a few more sofas would make it less feel less like a restaurant Like pie, and the tapas place on Beech Rd .
De Nada – ChorltonA really friendly restaurant with a father and daughter team running it.The food is the best I have eaten in Chorlton. It's fresh, tasty and authentic. You have to try Zaytoon if you haven't already. And it's extremely reasonable!
Zaytoon – ChorltonVisited Zazzon for the first time tonigbht with my 12 year old.The food is wonderful, fresh, tasty and healthy. And cheap. The chicken schwarma was superb. Spiced to perfection and the tastiest chicken dish i think i've eaver eaten. Daughter absolutley loved it.Really relaxed atmosphere and the father and daughter who run it go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If that isn't enough, the place was also full of Lebanese families. If that's not a ringing endorsement then i don't know what is.Will be back very soon.
Zaytoon – Chorltonfour of us had a super meal tuesday 16TH october faultless food and service will definitely be visiting again
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonVery disappointed with the Jockey, poor food, bad service and no apology from management or the perma tanned owner. AVOID!
Horse and Jockey – ChorltonWe arrived at this new bar / restaurant and were very impressed. Very friendly staff, some great beers and the empanadas were terrific. We stayed for a few more relaxing beers that evening as a result. Cheers!
De Nada – ChorltonExcellent! The taste and flavour of the curries produced here is something else. I don't know what it is they do but the food served here is the best of its kind I have tasted. I have been to many similar restaurants in Manchester, however for food alone Tandoori Flame is head and shoulders above the rest.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonI ama little baffled by the positive reviews of the Horse and Jockey. I have eaten here twice (not sure why I returned for food) and the food really wasnt good - pretty tasteless. Also, the bill themselves as vegetarian friendly however when I visited once they did not have a single vegetarian sandwich and where unable to even offer a cheese sandwich! Further the service is painstakingly slow. I just dont understand why they continually fail on this. I think they need to employ more staff and staff with experience of working behind a busy bar. Nobody ever has a sense of urgency about them no matter how many people are queuing at the bar. Its such a shame because the venue is lovely. This place has so much potential it just lets go to waste.
