Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonMy father and I went to Zaytoon for the first time last night and it was gorgeous. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was incredible. We are already planning on going back for more.
Zaytoon – ChorltonScott's Hill Restaurant in Chorlton is a breath of fresh air! Complimentary olives with the Champagne, mussels, sea bass and an elegant Sancerre - fresh local produce served in the first floor restaurant by friendly efficient staff. No minuses for this one - go and experience very good food at reasonable prices. We'll be back!

Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonFirst time anyone I knew had eaten here, and was my birthday meal.Fantastic food, warm welcome from George, an all round great evening. Not exactly what some in the group were expecting, venue wise, but then this isn't exactly a "restaurant" in the usual sense of the word... more a mediterranean taverna type.Highly recommended, with the only suggestions being maybe a bit more diversity on the veggie menu, and faster service. Starters took a while, but then the mains came out quickly afterwardsSuperb little place that has lots of potential
Zaytoon – ChorltonI have been going to this restaurant for about 3 years now since I moved to Chorlton and I love it. Great menu with lots of choice, a very authentic Italian feel and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and polite. The chef (owner) will come out into the restaurant and always say hello and have a bit chat with you which is a refreshing change from chefs just shouting at people. Keep up the good work, I love your restaurant. Highly recommend. Steve
Due Fratelli – ChorltonIt's a shame this is a really nice deli cum café with some very good food but I won't be visiting them again. I placed my order and paid at the counter. The excellent cappuccino arrived promptly and I was anticipating a delicious veggie breakfast. However when the food arrived it was cold apart from the fried egg. I took it back to the counter and explained that it was cold. The staff apologies and quickly served me another veggie breakfast. Unfortunately this was the same one but with an extra sausage and potatoes heated up in a microwave with the cold beans, mushrooms, tomato and fried egg with the pepper on from the previous plate.
North Star Deli – ChorltonI love this restaurant. Very relaxed and friendly. Fresh and delicious food. The chicken is amazing. And very reasonably priced.
Zaytoon – ChorltonDelicious Indian food, would definitely recommend it. Don't be put off by the bar like frontage, it's simply a restaurant.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonMyself, my partner and our son dined here a few eeks agi. We consider ourselves connoisseurs of Turkish food having tried pretty much all the Turkish restaurants in the Manchester area over the years. I can honestly say Saray is the best by far - a huge cut above its competitors (Turkish delight) and a more modern atmosphere to dine. The only downside was having to wait nearly an hour for our food but we did arrive at the busiest time (sat night) although we did book. The reason for our wait was apparently lots of people ordered mixed grill at the same time and their grill wasn't big enough - so my only criticism is get a bigger grill since my guess is given the menu - a fair few folk will want grilled meat. Other than this, we are definitely turning our back on the other local Turkish venues and making Saray our number one choice.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonSomewhere different with freshly cooked food using freshly purchased ingredients. Try Zaytoon for a refreshing change.
Zaytoon – ChorltonI've just been talking to my husband about the lovely meal we had at Zaytoon,Although it was a couple of weeks back I thought I must add a review as it was so good. The restaurant sits along side an eclectic mix of eateries, including a German, Spanish, Persian and Italian . We opted for iZaytoon and weren't disappointed. We had a Perfect Middle Eastern meal, even the salad accompanying the meal was crisp and tasty with a mint dressing. The choice is not very wide - but we think this helped ensure the high quality. The owner was a very nice guy too and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go again. :-)
Zaytoon – ChorltonFriendly service, generous portions, good dessert selection, hope to return soon!
Nectar Bistro – ChorltonI was very impressed from the minute I set foot inside zaytoon. The ambience is homely and warm, and the owner is personal and very friendly. I felt comfortable also with the nice calming music in the background and the nice seating and decor. The food was utterly delightful! I mostly tend to go for vegetarian food, which the menu caters for nicely. I chose a tabbouleh salad and wonderful falafel with pitta, it was a lovely explosion of flavours for my taste buds. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a cultural food experience with great service!
Zaytoon – ChorltonJust back from a dinner at Zaytoon. It was our first time at Zaytoon and we left really really happy with our meal. We had baked aubergines and falafels for starters, followed by a vegetarian moussaka and a chicken dish for mains. All the dishes had fantastic flavours, good portions, nice service. The ambiance is very friendly. You can see that the owner is really proud of his business. We will definitely be back soon. Prices are very reasonable. We paid £35 for 2 starters, mains and a bottle of wine. What else do you want? It was a great tasty meal. Thank you.
Zaytoon – ChorltonAte at Zaytoon on the recommendation of a friend last night and was bowled over. A combination of outstanding food (every single dish ordered at our table was a winner), comfortable, continental surroundings and attentive, helpful and lovely staff will have me coming back again and again. Great stuff.
Zaytoon – ChorltonHad a lovely meal at Saray on Friday night. Amazing service and wide choice of dishes which weren't too pricey. One of us is vegetarian and there was a really good selection of dishes. All food was fantastic and we had a lovely Anatolian wine as recommended by the really helpful waiter. Great atmosphere. Good value for money. Will definitely go again.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonIts a nice place - friendly staff and reasonable but not outstanding food. It was full on Friday night - while other equally good or better places were pretty empty. We'd go again as we live locally but there are better Middle Eastern places (Arian, Nectar and Turkish Delight for example in Chorlton)
