Bit disappointed! Took mum and my two children who have very healthy appetites. Portions rather on the small side, great if your on a diet! Other than that; food tasted great.

Croma – Chorltona pleasingly clean and fresh place to eat, good healthy portions and sharable starters. house red was liked by all our group as others have said the upper floor location does raise the class of the place as so many of chorlton's eateries are shop front style with little real privacy as too the criticism of paper napkins - why not? we visited at 7.00pm on a Thursday and found it to be very pleasant and quiet but a booking is a must for busy periods
Lusitano – Chorltonafter several visits to croma, all of which were great fun and very reasonable, we have found that certain standards are slipping. in an area where there is so much choice and variation on every level, restaurants need to stay attentive to detail or custom slips away our last visit was a niece's 10th birthday and the children's ice cream dessert was obviously straight from a supermarket value pack, including the plastic tub other peoples dessert had clearly been frozen and defrosted more than once as a result of this, we have tried other places and cannot see ourselves revisiting croma for a long time a great pity because the decor, service and food have been very good in the past
Croma – Chorltongreat place which has changed over the last ten years to offer a wider range than it used to very good food and reasonable prices we have been several times and always enjoyed it. it's best to walk as beech rd parking is pretty bad at busy times
Lead Station – ChorltonBy far the best kofta kebabs in manchester. I had mine with the cous cous salad, yogurt and uber fresh chilli and tomato sauce. Oh and its a restaurant as well. Deniz youre the man
Turkish Delight – ChorltonMy wife and I just happened across the super Turkish Delight restaurant in Chorlton and were absolutely delighted with the food. For my wife it was sword fish kebabs and I had a delicious mixed grill. To cap the enjoyment, the bill came in a little treasure chest containing Turkish delight.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonI would not recommend this restaurant. Maybe it is because i am arabic and i know what good arabic food should taste like. The service was terrible and the food was tasteless. I can only imagine a naive pallet would appreciate this experience. Never again!
Persia Grill House – ChorltonThis is by far mine and my husbands favourite restaurant, we have celebrated many a special occasion here. Not only is the food fantastic the staff make you feel like your part of the family. The decor is gorgeous. But the food is the most important thing, the lux meze to start is a strong favourite, along with the muska borek. The main courses are to die for, everything on the menu is perfect. You couldn't ask for a better restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Would definitely recommend and we are so glad they have started opening at lunch times, the lunch time menu is an absolute bargain.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonTried Mezzaluna last week as was recommended by friends, first impression was nice modern decor, and food was excellent, good size portions with reasonable prices, attentive service. Although there are just a couple of small points that don't match the quality of the food and decor, I do agree with the below reader re the white paper napkins? nice concept with an open kitchen but the chefs didn't look very smart, and i noticed one waiter wore a navy tshirt with a black shirt?~ Perhaps that's just me being too observant!
Lusitano – ChorltonI wouldn't eat here ..even if it was free!
Electrik – Chorltonhad a take away from here and the bread was wet through with source, never again will i eat here. sorry Turkish delight but your standards have dropped, badly, over the last two years, please try and sort it out.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonExcellent, authentic and cosy restaurant. Tastefully decorated with objet d'art in true Persian style. Ideal place for either a romantic meal, a group of friends or someone eating alone. The food was really exceptional, full of subtle flavours. The meat was perfectly cooked and really tender, as was the rice. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was so friendly and helpful. The chefs were so humble when we complimented them on the high standard of their food.
Persia Grill House – Chorltonvery pleasant and efficient staff, lovely food, pleasing decor and environment. Just one small point, why does a restaurant of this quality use paper napkins?? you wouldn't dream of paper table cloths!
Lusitano – ChorltonThe Persia Grill House is a little gem, small and cosy inside, the staff are friendly and inviting. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, try the lamb shanks served with rice with dill and broadbeans for something different and very tasty. Great for going out with your partner or a small group of friends, the 'bring your own' policy ensures a fun and inexpensive night for all!
Persia Grill House – ChorltonHad an excellent meal at the lead station Friday 19th April. It was nice to have a choice of fish from the specials board, the scallop and chorizo starter was well worth the money. Very busy but the food came out quick. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
Lead Station – ChorltonHUGE portions, great food and friendly service. 10/10
Asian Fusion – ChorltonI had a bad experience here. There service was good and the wine list also good. However I found the menu to be far too large and indicative of rushed cooking and a lack of fresh, seasonal ingredients. I had a chili pasta dish that was so hot it drowned out any other taste (eg £19 bottle of wine). And i'm not shy with chilli. My girlfriend had duck that was fatty and served with glacier cherries (the menu said fresh). The starters weren't up to much either. Shame cause its pricey too.
Lusitano – ChorltonWe've been three times this year and the service and food has been very good. The last time however (Fri 22 Feb) the service was slow and the food had been sat under a grill for some time before we received it, causing my gravy on bangers and mash to turn to a jam like consistancy. My girlfriends salmon had been burnt and dried by the grill. I think and hope this was a one off bad chef night as we will definitely return again in the future
