Food is always amazing very well presented and delicious, the atmosphere is great, the only problem is the service can be very slow at times.

The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonMy favourite place to eat in Manchester. Banging food no matter what you try. Hench Box let's you try to different mains.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonSecond time there, the food was amazing highly recommended and definitely coming back again.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – Chorlton3 td visit here not disappointed. I had jerk chicken & peas & rice & slaw. Hubby had jerk lamb chops dumplings & gravy. Had a caramel chocolate brownie. Pre booked table . Service good.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonThe chicken wings could have done with being cooked a little longer. the main meals was nice. Kitchen staff was so noisy shouting at eat each other. it was like this last time, makes it unbearable to hold a conversation and very distracting. The poor girl who is pregnant looked like she didn't want to be there at all, struggling to engage, looked out of her comfort zone. My suggestion is communicating with the previous owner to bring the atmosphere and service back to what to was. you also add 10% service charge which I refuse to pay until you actually deliver a good service
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonThe food was some of the best Caribbean food I've had in Manchester and the set up they have in the outside area is great. The only let down for me was the front of house service, the woman who took our food order didn't get it right. She then failed to tell us the table was on a time constraint, so when she came over for what we presumed was a drinks order or if we wanted desserts, she was actually telling us that we need to leave in the next 15 minutes and if we want to go bags! She didn't even clear the table. We saw other guests being moved from table to table, they looked annoyed and embarrassed. But like I said the food is good, but they need to address the front of House service.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonHad a table booked, sat down on the table we were shown to. Took 15 minutes for them to bring us a menu. The waitress who took our order was completely disinterested. Our food arrived and once we started to eat it, we were asked to move from the table we were put on (again, we had booked, didn't just walk in) onto another table in a separate part of the restaurant, mid-meal. If we hadn't already started eating the food we would have left. And they had the nerve to put a service charge on the bill! The 2 tables either side of us both said they also had to wait a long time to be served and one of them had also been asked (but refused) to move tables too. Can't complain about the actual food, it was delicious. We had curry goat, jerk chicken, dumplings and gravy. All tasted fantastic (I recommend the curry goat gravy). I'd just suggest getting it delivered rather than experience that kind of "service". The whole time it felt like they really didn't want us in their restaurant. Wouldn't go back.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonWe went for Sunday lunch and will definitely be coming back. It was really good and a change from the more traditional roasts. See you again soon...
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonI was a little skeptical before I attended as I thought the food wouldn't be authentic and would be seasoned for the masses ( like some other well known establishments) I was presently surprised as the food packed a decent punch and the presentation was on point . Staff were very friendly and the service was good ! I would definitely go again !
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonFood was great and portions were good too. The atmosphere was good too, service was average but all in all great value for money
