We dined last night at Tom’s Table for the first time, the customer service I have to say was excellent - after feeling like many places just don’t value this aspect of any dining experience. They catered well to vegans and have told us that they're expanding their vegan options, which is always good to hear! I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

From the initial booking to the final bill - nothing was a surprise except the food. Oh and by the way the food was great. We had heard good things about Tom's Table and were keen to see what the excitement was about. From the initial welcome - warm and friendly, to the menu which was small and varied (always a good sign of freshly prepared food), the first courses arrived and the taste buds weren't disappointed. Overall - great service, good honest food and at a very reasonable price. Whats not to like - we will be back.

This was our second visit to Tom's Table and once again it didn't disappoint. We had the early bird menu which had a good choice of starters, mains and desserts and at only £25.50 per head was exceptional value for money. The service was second to non and the waitresses were attentive without being overpowering. The food was amazing in fact we came out saying it was the best meal we had eaten in a very long time. A true hidden gem and we will certainly be returning in the near future. Keep up the good work guys...

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful service, not overly intrusive. Wonderful flavourful food, would highly recommend.

Booked in for my friends hen party 10 of us, what a lovely evening, it was my first visit and won’t be my last! Food was excellent and well presented, service was brilliant, no waiting for everyone to be served as we were all served at the same time and all on nicely warmed plates. Thank you for looking after us so well. See you soon!

Five of us had a lovely evening. We couldn’t fault any aspect of the service, atmosphere or food. We will definitely come back!!

Simply first class all round

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant, there wasn't a massive amount to chose from on the menu and specials, Our starters were lovely and we both opted for the fillet steak which was really good. The lady and young girl waiting on the tables were both really friendly.

Our second visit and again enjoyed the fabulous food and excellent service. It's so nice to be served delicious gluten & dairy free food without compromise. The staff are warm, friendly and knowledgable about the menu and the wine, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Our first visit, we chose from the early bird menu which was good value, all dishes were beautifully presented and tasty, friendly staff giving excellent service, will definitely recommend.

Excellent as usual. Visited with family and didn’t disappoint. This is our 4th time here and is without a doubt one of my favourite restaurants. Food quality is excellent and nicely presented. Service is good and staff are pleasant, professional and helpful. A lovely lunchtime. We will be back!!

We booked here for my birthday which was also our 1st time, I really can't give a better review for this hidden treasure, we were greeted and asked if we had been here before and was then welcomed with a lovely genuine we are happy to meet you both, beautifully decorated and a warmth and cosy feel to the restaurant. The waitress was informative with specials and asked about allergies. We opted for the 3 course early bird menu which had ample choices. Each course was not rushed and we were asked several times if we needed anything else. I would definitely recommend it and have already booked in for our wedding anniversary in June.

Trying hard to be bistro and high end but sadly doesn’t meet those expectations. It’s very cold inside and that’s not acceptable for an evening experience The starters were very lacking and unadventurous… I had the salt cod fish cakes which were very under seasoned and very bland… the liver pate was ‘ok’ and well presented but lacked any wow factor … The lamb special was not cooked well…it was over bbq/charred/burnt on the outside and sadly not easy to eat off the bone… the steak was mediocre.. and lacking any flare to make it special or memorable. Will not be returning anytime soon
