The legendary cheese pie was awesome. The pub is famous for its real ale and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely village near Pendle Hill and Clitheroe.

Had an excellent overnight stay on Friday. Room was spacious, bed was massive and comfy. The bar and restaurant was warm and inviting. Food and drink were great and service matched it. Breakfast was great too. We will return.

Excellent food, best in the ribble valley. Staff very friendly and atmosphere great. Good choices on menu. Good sized portions as well. Definitely one to visit.

Great food. Gorgeous looking old pub, especially the garden and views at the back. Was all very safe with Covid regs too

Booking was easy online. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. The menu choice was excellent making it hard to choose what we wanted. Lots of good varied choice. The food was excellent and a great varied wine menu too. The wine explanations were helpful in choosing a good bottle to suit our meal choice. Then the desert menu came and wow what a menu, again hard to choose and my choice was superb. Would love to return to try the rest of the menu when we are next in the area.

Excellent restaurant. Staff are very professional and service is excellent. The food is sourced locally, and cooked to perfection. Presentation of food beautiful. Would highly recommend a visit to the restaurant, but book in advance as it is very popular.

I booked this for our evening meal via their website. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly throughout. The quality of the food was amazing and one of the best meals we’ve have had. The Pork belly was delicious. Reasonable price too. Highly recommended. Can’t recommend enough. Amazing. ⭐️

Excellent Indian restaurant in Whalley. Great service for the 2 guys. The food was first class. Impressed with presentation too. Particularly the Indian Scotch Egg! The place was well designed too.

I booked this for our evening meal via their website. The place looked really nice, the reviews were good and the menu looked delicious. Although there were some small changes to the menu, this did live up to expectations.....in fact the food was far more enjoyable than I'd hoped. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly throughout. Like I said, the quality of the food was amazing and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

Consistently excellent food and service . Good value for money.

We decided to try new restaurants because of the 'eat out' deal and feel we have now found a restaurant to add to our 'regular' list. Friendly, efficient staff, great menu choices and excellent food - we will definitely be back.

Came to take advantage of the 50% Eat Out offer in August. Had the two course set menu. Absolutely delicious. Would have liked more of the pomme purée as it was fab and more veg could have been included. Very good value with the offer. All the staff were fantastic and social distancing and safety were excellent.

We had an excellent relaxing meal and the staff were pleasant and the service very good.
