Absolutely wonderful Christmas lunch for 12 ladies. From booking, ordering, welcome arrival, food, service. Everything was just great. A lovely country pub serving restaurant quality food. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable throughout. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff are so efficient, kind and professional. A real pleasure. Thanks From all of us at Creative Roots Workshops art group. We will be back.

The venison ragu with pasta followed by pear and salted caramel crumble were an excellent choice and served by our helpful waiter in good time. It was good value for money and the portions were just right for each of us. I'd definitely be happy to choose these next time. We had a very comfortable and peaceful setting for our catch-up. Egerton Arms Astbury – Congleton4 of us enjoyed a wholesome Sunday roast to celebrate my son's 18th. Food was very tasty with wide selection of veg. Decent portions which meant good value for money. I liked that those with not a man-size appetite could order a smaller portion. Staff very helpful and presented to the table a birthday cake with candles that we had popped in earlier in the day. Well done to the whole Egerton Arms team.
