The Cornish Arms – PadstowWe had the MASSIVE pleasure of dining at N06 on 23rd December 2014 and more importantly New Years eve . Absolutely fabulous. Everything was wonderful, food, wine ,service , and If we hadn't been so divinely stuffed the party afterwards !!! You have never had pumpkin soup like this one : the sour dough with creamy cods roe and crispy bacon bits yummy ! : the Beef ,I have never had better ANYWHERE : beautiful venison : the smoked haddock starter : I could go on and on. DO eat your way through the menu, your taste buds and stomach will love you forever. And I haven't even started on about the wine and the DESSERTS . SAVE UP GO , GO NOW then go again !!!
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowHad a wonderful meal at the Ivy House 2 weeks ago. Very polite owners, very accommodating and wonderful food at reasonable prices.
Ivy House – PadstowWorst Italian restaurant ever. I had pasta with tomato sauce and it came tasteless, without salt, without sauce and very overcooked. First time I haven't finished a plate of pasta. Also the service very poor. Overpaid for the food.
Pucellis – PadstowOur first stop on a recent holiday in Cornwall was Chips Ahoy on the recommendation of a friend who knows we like to eat well! We found the fish and chips here to be quite simply superb. The menu is limited but the portions are generous, the fish as fresh as can be and the cooking perfect. Wonderful, light, crispy batter, not at all oily, great chips and good mushy peas. Chips Ahoy is only a tiny shop with limited seating but it is deservedly popular - queues form well before opening time! For us this is one of the best in England.
Chips Ahoy – PadstowWow! What a find. No.6 is the best restaurant, by a mile, that I have ever visited in a very very long time. Fantastic food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a food experience to savour for a very long time.
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowIf the people at Michelin can't see that No.6 deserves a star or two they should stick to selling tyres. I have eaten there 4 times in the last 4 years and the food is consistently great and fabulous value for money. The best restaurant in Padstow by a mile.
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowPaul Ainsworth and his team have created a wonderful restaurant. Both the food and the service were absolutely fantastic. The little touches were genius like the cheese board with accompanying guide notes and the amazing taste of No.6 dessert selection We have eaten at some of the best places in the country and No.6 rivals any of them. Our two boys (7&8) said it was the best restaurant he had ever been too and could we go there every time. Hats off to No.6, you had achieved something very rare..
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowWent there on 7th July 2010. Fantastic food, fantastic service. An absolute pleasure eating at No.6. will definitely go back for more. Well done to the chef and staff!!
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowWow! There aren't enough words to express our experience at Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 on 3rd July 2010 - OUR WEDDING DAY! Paul and his staff far exceeded our expectations with the quality of service, food (of course), help and friendliness from beginning to end. It wasn't our first meal there and it certainly won't be our last!
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowAn exciting menu, excellent food, amazing presentation. Hoping to come back again next week.

Walkers – PadstowWe had an awesome meal last Saturday evening - everything superb - flavours, presentation, service - probably the best meal I've ever had! Will definitely revisit.
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowWe has a fantastic meal in April, brilliant service, flavours to die for and the medley pudding option has to be the best we've ever tasted. The meal was excellent value for money. It is a bit tight for space....but if that is the price to pay for getting a table, it's worth it.
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowThe most exciting meal we have ever had the pleasure to devour was presented to us last night at Paul Ainsworths No 6. The unusual combinations of ingredients worked beautifully, my cod fillet with chick peas and mussels, out of this world. Starters and puddings were all stunning. Wonderful service and excellent value for money. Thank-you
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowCelebrated my father - in - laws birthday and needed the evening to be special. The restaurant, food and service exceeded my expectations. Martin our waiter (which seems so much an understatement) was fantastic, professional and friendly - explaining each of the dishes, helping with the wine selection and just being there when needed, no more, no less. Much of the conversation centered around how fantastic the food was presented and tasted. Lots of little touches, such as a Happy Birthday message written on the desert, made the evening extra special. Go out of your way to experience the restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
Paul Ainsworth at No 6 – PadstowWhat more could we have asked for. A wonderful break in Padstow a lovely landlady then to top our long weekend amazing exquisite food at Paul Ainsworth. Its the best for us the staff are very friendly but not in your face. They recommend on their personal tastes which is great. The whole place is heart warming not rushed and its was a joy to dine. Fantastic! We eat here everytime we visit Padstow a sheer delight. Thankyou to Paul and co. Gill and Alfie Ruggiero
