I have eaten in this restaurant for the first time with my little grandson and granddaughter. They both loved it, and so did I. It was very reasonably priced and the food was absolutely delicious.

Firehouse Bar and Grill – St IvesPlease don't tell anyone about this place, it only has 6 tables and is soooo good we'll never be able to get a booking.
The Wheelhouse – FalmouthGreat views from the beer garden at the back of the pub. Good food, big portions and decent prices. Have spent many hours here and will be again this year.
The Fort Inn – NewquayReally enjoyed our dinner at 'Amelie's'. Had Mussels which were excellent and a burger (delicious). Staff were great. The portions are huge! If you've managed to get through a starter and main then don't bother with pudding as they were not that great (Apple Pudding had to be sent back) and the cheese board is a bit mean for 8 quid (Although the cheese is delicious). Really worth a visit though and imagine it will be heaving come summer!
Amelies – HelstonI went to Ben's Cornish Kitchen for a family meal. the staff were polite, full of smiles and attentive. I ordered a starter and a main. the starter came out in good time and was delicious and different with a choice of dips, bread and olives. For a main i had steak which can always be very hit and miss but Ben's Cornish Kitchen surpassed my expectation. it was cooked exactly to order and melted in the mouth. i have often been told that a sign of a good steak is when they don't change your knife and here they really didn't have to. Thanks Ben's Cornish Kitchen and staff, it was awesomely enjoyable and i would recommend it to anyone. five star!
Ben’s Cornish Kitchen – MarazionHad a gorgeous lunch at Amelies after a walk on the beach. The venue is lovely - bright, spacious and clean and our waitress couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The pizzas are huge and delicious (although a bit heavy on the oregano) and the vegetable tian was beautiful and very tasty. Would definitely go again and can't wait to try out the rest of the menu including the lunch specials.
Amelies – HelstonAs a regular of the Three Mackerels I was hoping that the Indaba would be at least as good. Regrettably the Fish and Chips were soggy, greasy and unpleasant and the Seam Bream was overcooked and not enjoyable. The Chef does not show the refinement that previously existed - pity really the position deserves better
Indaba On The Beach – FalmouthA rather cheesy Italian restaurant, but with very a friendly atmosphere. The food was good enough, fairly priced, but the service was excellent. The waitress Joanna was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. It wouldn't be to everyone's tastes, but I would go there again.
Giuseppes – Helstoni love this place i take my kids in for breakfast, they love the maple syrup pancakes or should i say crepes as they like to call, staff are really friendly and the service is unbeatable.
Brown Sugar – FoweyThis restaurant is an inspiration. We have visited it several times over the last two years - whenever we go to the Lizard. The food is always delicious and serves both unexpected delights as well as good reliable organic meals. The service is warm and hospitable. It is a very popular place and therefore wise to book.
Greenhouse Organic Restaurant – The LizardVisited Austells Restaurant Wednesday 17th March 2010 for a quiet Birthday meal for two. Greeted with a complimentary glass of Champagne and it only got better from there on. The food was excellent the staff were very pleasant and attentive and the owner 'Brett' was very welcoming and concerned your food was perfect. This Restaurant is a journey worth the visit and I will be returning again. Highly recommended for adults
Austells – St AustellHave just enjoyed a wonderful lunch, at very reasonable prices at The Scarlet Hotel, Mawgan Porth. Even on a windy Cornish spring day the views are stunning and the hotel itself is unique. The service was excellent, informal, friendly yet professional. The food was excellent, right sized portions, organic and fresh at at £20 for 3 courses including wine, a bargain. Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.
The Scarlet Hotel – Newquaygreat food, great wine, dirty cutlery, dirty glasses, charged for a drink we didn't have. overall, 5 out of 10. Expensive at about £15 for a main.
Indaba On The Beach – FalmouthA new and exciting menu and facilities are now to be launched. Offering an extensive A La Carte Menu with our alternative meats menu and our Sizzling Hot Steak Stones. The unusual method of cooking your steaks at your table has now become available. We will also be offering a large children's play area with free bouncy castle and trampoline and a numerous amount of garden games to keep the children amused. In the afternoons you can treat the children or adults to a friendly pony ride around the grounds. Bring your pets with you and take for a walk around the woodlands and trout lake. A afternoon out not to be missed.
Great Trethew Manor – LiskeardVery enjoyable evening with my kids at yak & yeti. Really enjoyed the food and time.
Yak and Yeti – TruroLast night a party of 25 people went to a private function at the Alverton Manor Hotel. The building was beautiful, but it a shame that the food and the service didnt match. The menu was a very limited choice, 3 people went without a main meal as they hadn't pre ordered, and there were no spare steaks, the steaks and fish were served without appropriate cutlery, you had no choice of how the steak was cooked, food presentation wasn't to the standard to expect from such a place, coffee came before dessert, some of the staff were quite rude at times, and many members of our party were overcharged. I was looking forward to this evening as Ive heard lots of good reviews about the Alverton Manor, but I was very disappointed, and would not recommend it to anyone.
Alverton Hotel – TruroWell, what can we say. We ate at 'Q' last weekend and what a find. As we were just visiting the wonderful town of Fowey we thought we would ask for the best place in town to eat.... The person we stopped in the street pointed us in exactly the right direction! Adam the restaurant manager was great and recommended the chateau brand for us to share, thank you. A great restaurant in a fantastic boutique hotel. We will be back to stay!!!! I would say that whoever reads this review should visit.
Q at the Old Quay House Hotel – FoweyLife's a Beach is a great place with really good food. The view is amazing and there's a real buzzy vibe. It's a nice place for the whole family as kids are welcome.
