Very enjoyable evening with my kids at yak & yeti. Really enjoyed the food and time.

Last night a party of 25 people went to a private function at the Alverton Manor Hotel. The building was beautiful, but it a shame that the food and the service didnt match.The menu was a very limited choice, 3 people went without a main meal as they hadn't pre ordered, and there were no spare steaks, the steaks and fish were served without appropriate cutlery, you had no choice of how the steak was cooked, food presentation wasn't to the standard to expect from such a place, coffee came before dessert, some of the staff were quite rude at times, and many members of our party were overcharged. I was looking forward to this evening as Ive heard lots of good reviews about the Alverton Manor, but I was very disappointed, and would not recommend it to anyone.

Well, what can we say. We ate at 'Q' last weekend and what a find. As we were just visiting the wonderful town of Fowey we thought we would ask for the best place in town to eat.... The person we stopped in the street pointed us in exactly the right direction! Adam the restaurant manager was great and recommended the chateau brand for us to share, thank you. A great restaurant in a fantastic boutique hotel. We will be back to stay!!!! I would say that whoever reads this review should visit.

Life's a Beach is a great place with really good food. The view is amazing and there's a real buzzy vibe. It's a nice place for the whole family as kids are welcome.

As residents of St Ives we are fortunate enough to have this excellent restaurant on our doorstep! The food is consistently of a high quality and at an affordable price, unlike many other restaurants in the town. The atmosphere is superb and the welcome you receive from Tim and his staff is second to none. Hidden away as it is, up above the shops on the harbour front, it is very difficult to tell just how good this modest looking restaurant is.......but as I worked for many years as a popular chef, I think my recommendation carries weight.......do try it but leave room for us please!

pub food at its best,local produce,the currys are to die for all cooked to order, when were in cornwall we eat here all the time, to sum it up great food at great prices

This was our first time to the Cedar Tree Restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed the great service and relaxing atmosphere. The food was of top quality and I highly recommend this restaurant.

You cannot get better than this cafe. It is a basic cafe but the quality is exceptional. If you are lucky enough to get an outside table the views across the harbour are truly superb. I would also say that the staff are great, very helpful and friendly. No teenage girls with long faces here. Always have a smile for their customers. We visit St Ives every month and always have lunch her.

first time to yak and yeti ,probably not the last, my boyfriend and i had a fav, evening many thanks to ashish and the chef laxman.we really loved it.

A fantastic addition to the the area around Looe, really great relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and top quality food, What more can you want? Have been twice now and each time has been superb, cannot recommend highly enough...

Enjoyed my evening here very much , good food ( Chicken Pakora,momo, followed by himalayan chilli chicken , mango sorbet and coffe ) and excellent value at £25 . The food was lovely and tasty and there was plenty of it . the service was friendly and cheerful , I would definitely come back .
