I love this restaurant, I visit Rock in Cornwall 3 or 4 times a year and eat out a lot, I discovered the Harbour tucked away in Port Isaac last year and it's become my favourite place to eat. The owner is also the chef and that speaks volumes to me. The first thing I love is the location, Port Isaac is a beautiful village set around a steep sided natural harbour, the Restaurant is a pretty little olde worlde wonky building right on the Harbour front looking out to sea. Inside, the decor is lovely and fresh - feels very homely with scatter cushions, lovely wooden tables and nice pictures on the walls. The food is really excellent, great ingredients, tasty recipes and lovely presentation. Nice house wine at a decent price too. Over all, it's a bit more expensive than a pub supper but you absolutely get what you pay for. Watch out for the tide if you park on the beach, also, I'd recommend booking as there are only a few tables and it's been fully booked whenever I have been. The table service has usually been excellent, always friendly but varies on different nights. Also, if you don't like fish, there's only usually a couple of non fish dishes on the menu so might be worth checking! The fillet steaks are fabulous.
