We have eaten here twice now, and each occasion has been pleasurable. The food is delicious and served by friendly staff.

ASK – TruroWe went for dinner here last week and quite frankly had one of the best meals we have had in Cornwall for some time. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys fine food.
Waterloo Restaurant – BoscastleI have stayed for pleasure at the Wellington Hotel a number of times over the last year and ALWAYS eat in Waterloo Restaurant. On every occasion the meal has been amongst the best that I have ever had. Service is friendly and professional without being overwhelming. Staff, including Scottie and his chefs, are always willing to chat about the food with you. Menus are varied, but always make the best of LOCAL produce, with anything, such as the bread varieties and puddings, that CAN be made in the kitchen actually BEING made there! I now await my next visit with anticipation.
Waterloo Restaurant – BoscastleFound this restaurant whilst looking for another! The owner was very welcoming, and we had some excellent mackerel and local lamb. Happy to entertain children, but beware that the 'childrens' menu' really runs to small portions of the adult dishes or pasta, and at £5 for a bowl of tagliatelle with butter, that's not great value. However, it is still a lovely place to eat, with a good selection of wines and spirits.
St Andrews Street Bistro – St IvesGreat food and service complimented by the beautiful view!
Mermaid – Scilly Isleswe have just returned from our holiday to Port Issac and on our first night the Old School House was recommended to us by one of the local B&B owners. The owners and staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed but professional. The meal was fantastic we would certainly recommend the scallops !! Exceptional. In comparison we ate at Rick Steins Cafe a few days later and in all honesty the food served at the School Restaurant was of a much better standard for taste, presentation and value - we will definitely be eating there again - Excellent Restaurant.
Old Schoolhouse Hotel and Restaurant – Port IsaacFriendly and welcoming pub, with great home cooked food, non smoking already too!
Lamb and Flag Inn – St IvesMe and my guy went to pizza express after being turned away from Piero's - and we are so glad we came across it. They were also busy but made space for us and we had a delicious meal which we now rate higher than Piero's. The wine was also nice and not to pricey!! Love it lots and we are now repeat visitors!
Pizza Express – TruroAs luck would have it they managed to fit us in on a busy night and so happy they could as it is now my top spot for eating when down in cornwall, From start to finish truly wonderful food and service.
Wreckers – St AustellWe went to Tabb? using the Dine in style promotion from the West Briton as we heard it was expensive so wanted to see what the food was like before spending too much. We thought it was excellent the food was really good and we enjoyed it immensely so will definitely go back for a special occasion. Looking at the rest of the menu it isn? as expensive as i was led to believe either. The pork belly was melt in the mouth really good. Definitely recommend it.
Tabbs Restaurant – TruroIts a thumbs up from my family and I . from the kids to the mother in law we had a great time. The kids went in on the two nights over the weekend and had a two amazing night. We recommend this if in st ives.
Hub Bar and Kitchen – St IvesWords fail me, their burgers are the best I've had, I thought Gourmet Burger Kitchen was the best but Blas beats them by a mile. If your going to St Ives, go there!
Blas Burgerworks – St IvesBusy Pub, lovely to see it back how it used to be. Food great! Will definitely be back again soon
White Pyramid – St AustellMy aim as a taxi company owner is to sample each and every local restaurant and bar to enable me to pass on personal 'recommendations' to my customers. Elements is situated on the cliff tops overlooking Bude and the North Atlantic. The former name of this gem was 'The Chough Hotel' but renovated and renamed for the start of the 2005 season. Firstly booking is advisable. Do not expect to have a 'quick meal' you are encouraged to take a drink of your choice to study and order from a well presented menu of the day. When your first choice of starter is ready you are guided to your table. Service and food is to a very high standard and presentation. Main Courses are a delight and again well presented to a very high standard for a very modest price (a real Cornish Gem!). This is one of those establishments where I found it possible and a joy to sit with the family around a table and talk without the normal home distractions (TV, Phone Etc.) A very pleasant 3 Hours was allowed from entry to finishing coffee outside on the veranda (this review for a summer visit!!). I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant as one of the best for Bude
Elements – BudeWe went for Sunday lunch and had the seafood stew special - it was amazing value at £9.50 and seriously good. There were razor clams, mussels, clams, tiger prawns, gurnard. The aioli was home made with saffron and garlic. Even the chips were great ! All in a relaxing atmosphere with nice service / coffee - much improved !
Beach Restaurant – PenzanceI first visited Peppers back in 1999 (first time that I had been to cornwall) the day after the solar eclipse with my (now) ex-girlfriend. I was really impressed with the quality of the food, much higher in standard than any other restaurant that I have ever been to. I'm visiting Cornwall again later this month for the first time since 1999. No prizes for guessing where I will be going to for a meal !!
Peppers Pasta and Pizzeria – St IvesWent last Friday been loads of times before but this time the food was amazing. The waitress told me it was a new chef brought across from their other restaurant - what a good move. me and the girlies will be back!
One Eyed Cat Bar and Restaurant – TruroWonderful food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We're so glad we stumbled into the nice little Bistro. Fish Specials especially recommended!
