Very friendly inn, landlords Steve & Chris made you feel very welcome. Home cooked food was excellent and very reasonably priced, with friendly service. Will definitely go back.

Devil’s Stone Inn – Launcestonthey talk about a complete refurbishment and importing chef's from london etc. Well they're right. Brilliant meal, massive lobster from the huge tank, venison perfect....beautiful staff, loved it and will return
Waterfront The – PerranporthI was in the salt bar last Friday night, at last there is a place to go to in hayle where you dont have to be a local to fit in. As soon as you walk in there is a relaxing atmosphere and you are made to feel so welcome!!! Great food +drinks At last a modern touch to Hayle cheers guys
Salt Kitchen Bar – HayleWhat a lovely place to stay and eat and what a great menu some thing for all fantastic!!!
Sloop Inn – St IvesWent a week or so ago and really enjoyed our night. great cocktails and vast menu for the restaurant. Music a bit loud but none the less a cracking atmosphere and as Arnie once said...I'll be back. great stuff One Eyed cat- odd name but quirky
One Eyed Cat Bar and Restaurant – TruroI love it~ its fantastic definitely recommend it to anyone!
Mackerel Sky Cafe Bar – PenzanceWe will definitely be going back to the Fistral Blu Restaurant next time we are in Newquay, the scallops were so delicious with that unusual 'kwaibi' Japanese mustard! The lamb shank was so tender & beautifully presented. We thoroughly recommend McGuigan Brothers Black Label, a v. smooth red wine. The ambience & service were just perfect!
Fistral Beach Bar – NewquayDelicious Pizza with unusual toppings. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Nicely designed but not sure about the red material on the chairs doesn't quite go with the rest.
One Eyed Cat Bar and Restaurant – TruroOn my visit to Carbonara, I found the service to be friendly, the atmosphere welcoming and the menu varied enough to suit most tastes. All food is cooked fresh, and the waiting staff do everything possible to ensure that you enjoy your meal. The restaurant itself is quite small, however, clever placing of tables means that you have your own space in which to enjoy your meal and do not feel at all cramped. As well as the fantastic starter and main menu, there is also a delightful desert menu for those who still have room for it! Over all I would highly recommend this quaint little restaurant to anyone in the area who would like to have a pleasant meal in a friendly but not intrusive atmosphere, at a price reflected in the food and service.
Bar Q Dos – TruroI have eaten at Chantek on many occasions, mainly at lunchtime. I would agree that the evening prices are more expensive but I have never had any complaints about the size of portions. The extra menu available at lunch is a real bargain. You can have a starter and a main course for a set price or a main course with a drink. The main courses include either noodles or rice. You get a generous portion of food for both courses. Food choices are large and the flavours are authentic. I am lucky enough to live locally so I have even had excellent take aways from Chantek.
Chantek Thai and South East Asian Restaurant – TruroHad heard about the new chef owner and wanted to try this place. We went this sunday for lunch. The food was excellent. We both had the Jerusalem Artichoke soup with truffle oil and I had roast sirloin with veg my partner had a risotto. We enjoyed it very much and shall probably return.
Victoria Inn – PenzanceI have only used this for its excellent pizza, but when eating in the other night I chose to order the steak and fries, superb quality beef thin frites perfectly cooked and incredible value. I also had the chilli stir fried squid which melted in the mouth. The bill for three inc booze was around £40. Great value. I totally recommend this place.
Peppers Pasta and Pizzeria – St IvesAlways a pleasure to visit this excellently situated establishment, the views of the harbour are superb. Eric and Tracey make sure every one is looked after and leave happy. The staff are pleasant, polite and efficient. Menu has much to choose from and food presented nicely. Return visits are a must, over and over again, one feels so comfortable.
Kingfisher – St IvesWe have never been disappointed here.
Annapurna – LiskeardWhen many other quality restaurants in St Ives have established themselves and are now letting their standards slip, The Cornish Deli reminds us how it should be done. The quality of food is excellent and the wine is fantastic. The staff are experienced and efficient. There is an enthusaism for food -and customers- that is undeniable. I can't praise it highly enough either for lunch or a sensibly priced dinner of great quality.
Cornish Deli – St IvesUnder new ownership, this beautiful restaurant has excelled itself. With the Lunchtime Menu offering a choice of two or three courses for a set price, this represents good value and flexibility. (A la Carte is also available) Starting with a selection of delicious home-made breads I enjoyed a light lunch of Ceasar Salad followed by an old favourite of mine, Eton Mess which was simply divine. The salad had a good balance of ingredients and the pine nuts were roasted to perfection! My friends ordered a Thai Curry and Pepper Fritatta, both of which were excellent in taste and presentation. To finish their meal they chose homemade Ice Cream in a Brandy Snap basket and Cornish Brie which came with good quality grapes and assorted crackers. To complement our meal we drank an excellent Tindall Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, though we were spoilt for choice with the innovative Wine List. Coupled with delightful staff and attentive service Trewithen is certainly a good place for a meal at any time of the year.
Trewithen Restaurant – LostwithielI went on a girl's night out and had a fabulous time. The staff were really brilliant, attentive, knowledgeable about the food and friendly. Every single thing was delicious from the home made bread, steak, veggie and fish mains to the 'to die for' puddings. I can't wait to go again - what a great restaurant.
The Edge – Port IsaacOne of the best meals I have ever eaten. The portions look small but I had to be rolled out of the place! The scallop and black pudding starter needs to be a permanent fixture on the menu and the taste of 6 pudding - a shared 'buffet' of puddings for 2 - is mouth watering. Molly the hostess creates and wonderful ambiance and the service is second to none. the room was full of happy eaters just oohing and aghing over the immaculately presented food. However the restaurant has escaped becoming a pretentious hang out! Can't wait to go back!
