Lotus Thai Restaurant – NewquayFriendly atmosphere. Food is always good, with generous portions.
Golden Inn The – LauncestonGreat food at a reasonable price and the waitresses were really helpful. The best Thai food we have had in England. We shall be going back soon!
Thai Orchid Restaurant – FalmouthAn excellent meal from a well thought out menu. The wine list is also of the same calibre. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. On the whole to be thoroughly recommended.
Wreckers – St AustellWhat an amazing Indian Restaurant. The environment is very modern and elegant yet everyone would feel comfortable dining there. The food was gorgeous. We're going back this bank holiday (May 2004) to get another taste!
Rajpoot – St IvesWe just called in for a quick drink but got very comfortable sat by the window and had a couple of delicious snacks. It's a fantastic location and very stylish too. I could stay there all day.
Hub Bar and Kitchen – St IvesWe always take our family and friends here. It's great value, stylish and still child friendly - our son loves the crispy duck pizza. Never disappointed we keep going back.
Onshore Restaurant – St IvesThe concept is refreshing, choose your meat or fish from the display and match with a sauce and accompliment of your choice. The style of cooking is contemporary, with a degree of attention to detail, portions large and staff very well trained. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxed in the evening. You cannot really go wrong here.
Seafood Cafe The – St IvesI have been to this restaurant a few times in its various names, "Hungrey Surfer", cant remember what it was called last year, but noticed this year it has changed again, Went there last year with the kids in the evening and got frozen out by the staff, nice meal shame about some of the service, went there a year later and had a wonderfull time. This place seems to be run for major profit and you will only get good service if the seasonal staff are professional..... I may go back there in a few weeks and try again. Or I may go to St Petrocs, Padstow, excellent food and service
Blue Tomato Cafe – WadebridgeThis is the first time I had visited Bustopher Jones in a number of years, but what an improvement! Very nice to see a varied menu with some exotic dishes.
Bustophers Bar and Bistro – TruroA hidden gem, large carpark features, an outside, covered dining area and a whinnie the Poo bridge over a stream that leads to a grass covered play area. There is a huge Waterwheel attached to the back of the building. Inside we were warmly greeted and sat in a Granite and slate bar area that has the original Mill on show. We ordered some Tails of Beef with a wine sauce and Rosti and aan Asian style Chicken Noodle dish, both were very good, the wine we had was a bargain and the atmospere was warm and relaxed. There is a more formal restaurant upstairs which we were told is terrifically popular for Sunday Lunches.
Watermill The – HayleHave held several funtions here, always received first class service from a small friendly team. Fantastic Wine list.
Bustophers Bar and Bistro – TruroOutstanding food and views and lovely staff - unbelievably unpleasant management - we merely mentioned we'd waited 1 hour from starter to main course: to be told: 'don't come back here again' . But it's new...
Blue Tomato Cafe – Wadebridgeone of the best restaurants i have ever had the pleasure of dining in. the menu combinations are rarely seen. thanks to Autumn (manager) and Ben (head chef) for a fantastic night
Alfresco – St IvesFantastic setting and views - the restaurant is right on the beach. Good service by friendly staff. The sticky toffee pudding was outstanding.
Porthgwidden Beach Cafe – St Iveswow what a great place i was only passing and stopped on the off chance and im so pleased i did the food was fantastic real good honest home cooked food, it had a varied menu and if thats not enough they had a spiecals board the size of a small county, i;m not a wine drinker so you will have to make your own mind up on that. i hope to go back soon and it will be well worth the drive. the locals i got talking to said it had the best carvery in cornwall so maybe sunday it is.
Old Shire Inn – CamborneMannings is a lovely little pub, but the food may be a bit over rated, but this must be because they cateer for many people, worth a go
