Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeCouldn’t be faulted. Had the roast lamb with cauliflower cheese as an extra. Food was top quality, the ambience in the pub was good, and the staff very polite and helpful. Excellent
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeAn exceptional dinner. Beautiful cooked and seasoned medium rare sirloin steak with pepper sauce. Proper triple cooked chips crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Delicious pork belly on a bed of seasonal veg and new potatoes. Would dine here again.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWe ate at the pub on a Tuesday night but it was still fully booked. Service was great and food was nice however don’t go planning to have something from the amazing sounding specials menu suggested on the website as there was no specials menu offered which was very disappointing. The virgin Pina Colada and local beers were a highlight.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeA good night spoiled: The food was of a good pub grub standard. Decent portions, nothing fancy. The service was mostly good. Our main waitress was lovely, (we were also served by a very grumpy, almost rude young woman, which was a shame.) Our main issue came when we attempted to order drinks with our meal for our 18 and 21 year old children. They were asked for ID, which they weren't carrying as we were out for a family meal and legally you can drink at 16 with a meal. We have never encountered this issue before and long story short, it was made into a huge problem by the manager and left a very unpleasant impression of the way the establishment is run. We felt we were being watched and the amount our children were drinking was being monitored. We weren't able to order a bottle of wine for the table because the manager said we might let the children drink more than 2 glasses (which he arbitrarily decided was their limit, having said they couldn't drink at all originally.) It was all very ridiculous and frustrating and marred what could have been a pleasant enough evening. We looked for an alternative venue, but everywhere was busy, so we had to stick with it, otherwise we would definitely have bailed. Shame.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeGood food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeDelicious Sunday roast, looking forward to going back again soon. Friendly staff and a good pint!!
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeStaff were amazing and super friendly and attentive. Food was poor quality and overpriced for what it was.
Lemon Twist – FalmouthLovely food and whole round dining experience, we went for my sons birthday and the whole family enjoyed the evening
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeExcellent food every time we go. Great portion sizes, delicious flavours and value for money.
Lemon Twist – FalmouthUnfortunately this was a very bad experience, food was not up to standard. Very disappointing and prices have rocketed from the previous owers. The only positive was the waitress, she was very apologetic and offered a round of drinks on the house.
Lemon Twist – FalmouthHad excellent fish dinners, perfect cocktail, etc. and excellent service. I would heartily recommend them for food and accommodation.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWe always go to Lemon Twist in the summer, however it is not as good as it used to be. Cocktails were not special and not worth the price, food was very boring and not great quality. Sadly we will not be returning.
Lemon Twist – FalmouthThe meal was genuinely outstanding, in a really atmospheric restaurant. 10 out of 10!
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeExcellent meal, friendly staff and good value for money.
