Great food. VERY POOR PEOPLE SKILLS!! The landlady/manageress 's attitude was disgusting. My girlfriend and I will not be frequenting this place again
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweVisiting here for my mums birthday as advertised on board fresh food served daily. So we went in quite quiet surprisingly considering what a great pub it is inside lots of room and great amostosphere. My mum and me chose rump steak which came with chunky homemade chips fresh cooked mushrooms, tomato and onion rings, the steak was cooked just right and was tasty. Both me and my mum really enjoyed it , We got talking to the manager who has recently reopened the pub and told us he had had some teething problems with the catering equipment due to how past tenants had left the place. Which probably explains the review below. I would highly recommend The Swan in Woore for fresh home cooked food and a warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. Lovely pint of Thatchers too. Thanks Paul wish you luck. To all give this place a go it is under new management and is lovely.
The Swan at Woore – CreweVery poor quality and relatively high price. Would not recommend.
Dine India Restaurant – CreweSeven of us went to the Coach and Horses today. I ordered the grilled chilli cod. Lovely. I asked for mayonnaise and an earwig fell onto my plate from the lid of the squeezy bottle. Not a problem. BUT we were very disappointed with the customer service. We were informed that the chef found the incident funny. I waited another half hour for a replacement meal - without apology. Then all my friends had finished theirs and I was still sat there. I left without having a meal and without any offer of apology to me and my friends. LOVELY FOOD - POOR PEOPLE SKILLS. Hard luck, we meet every month but not at your place!
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweI had a lovely meal with my wife and children. We had an excellent service from the bar staff and waitresses. We has the meal deal for £7.99 for 2 courses and we really enjoyed it. The main was the best part of the meal. My son had the ham and it was great. Will definitely be coming back soon. We came on the 14th June 2014.
Rising Sun – CreweUnder new management and refurbished.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweRecently had a meal sveral times at The Lord Combermere.Really Great Service!Really excellent food, wonderfully preapred and cooked. They also put extra special effort in providing gluten-free items on the menu, which are delicious. I can really recommend the food here, especially if you suffer from coeliacs disease.A gem of a place in the middle of quiet cheshire.
Lord Combermere – CreweMy boyfriend and I went here for a quiet drink after spotting it whilst looking for somewhere to go following a meal elsewhere. We thought it looked like a lovely pub from outside. However, when we walked in, we instantly regretted it. It is obviously a locals pub, which I have no problem with- but the locals are SO unfriendly to 'outsiders'. We were being constantly glared at, everyone was looking at us like scum for daring to enter their pub. We did nothing wrong, we walked in, smart/casual dressed, inoffensive, and ordered two drinks. We sat down and felt forced to drink up and go as we were getting daggers from all angles, particulary one group who actually, NEVER took their eyes off us. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Will never go here again. I would not recomend this to anyone who isnt already a regular as you will be treated with contempt! Also, looks nice from outside, but inside, it is like and old persons living room. Very old fashioned.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweFantastic food and first class service, what more could you ask for.
The Barn India – CreweI've just been to the Coach and Horses for our work's Christmas lunch (18/12/12) and had the best meal in ages. The food was served piping hot and with just the right time delay between courses. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go again.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweVery good food,. Service was really excellent . Nothing too much trouble!
The Falcon Inn – CreweGreat place to eat best in Crewe.
Passage To India – CreweHave read the review by Sidney w g Boulton and the food sounds fab will be coming to sample it ourselves.
The Barn India – CreweWe have been dining here for years, the food was always very good but the service lacked sparkle once you were served, there was very little proactivity from the staff, they seemed to want you to finish your meal and leave. However, just lately the food is terrible, we sent my wifes canelloni back as it was cold in the middle and when it returned it was burned, we refused to pay for it. Several other diners sent their food back on the same evening. What was a reasonable priced restaurant with an 'eat and leave' attitude has now become a no go. Shame.
Giovannis – Crewethe best Indian food i have had the pleasure tasting a very enjoyable evening will be back
The Barn India – CreweTrev the pub landlord always offers service with a smile. Great great country local with good beers on offer.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweVery friendly, great atmosphere and with appeal to a wide multicultural mix; fantastic range of bottled an cask ales - including a lovely German Kolsch. Highly recommended.
Hops Cafe Bar – CreweJust minutes from the Railway Station, they have a wide range of stock. Fresh or frozen with all the spices and seasoning make you own Thai meal. For quick and easy meals, their range includes a variety of ready made pastes save you all the trouble of preparation. Light snacks or sauces, utensils or recipe books, everything is here in one place. Parking is available in many of the streets nearby. So if you enjoy Thai food and would like to start making your own dishes, it’s well worth a visit. A note - they have expanded their store and move closer to Wood Street
