There was three of us we all had a mixed starter which was delicious as usual(we normally have it delivered) mains my daughter and I had chilli fried rice with chicken and my husband has king prawn in sweet and sour and he said that was gorgeous. All the staff were attentive and helpful
Ayuthaya – CrosbyAbsolutely amazing food. Service was great and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend
Mustard & Co – CrosbyWe had the tasting menu every cours was a taste explosion. Very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. All and all a great place to visit.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyHave been wanting to go for a while. Lovely food. Menu was a bit limited but really enjoyed what we had. Each course was exquisitely presented and very tasty. The wine was gorgeous and the cheese board at the end was fab.
Mustard & Co – CrosbySpecial Occasion Anniversary Dining Booked for my Wife's birthday at her request. The place is very unassuming from the outside - similar to any number of smart cafes nearby - however it is a very different experience (and price tag!). You could choose between either a three or eight course menu, and they were able to cater for special dietary requirements without fuss. We went for the full eight and we were not disappointed! Excellent food, beautifully presented.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyWe had a works retirement party in the conservatory part of Mustard for 14 of us. We had the afternoon tea with champagne which was delicious. Cant fault the service. All staff were very attentive and made sure we were well fed and watered. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Will definitely return very soon.
Mustard & Co – CrosbySunday lunch here is a must, there’s a reason it is one of the country’s finest!
Mustard & Co – CrosbyOur first time here for a meal. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We went for Sunday roast, unfortunately a couple of things let down the meal for us. The Yorkshire pudding was cold, we informed the staff and they immediately replaced them with hot Yorkshire puddings. Also the food was served on cold plates. We’d seen and heard good reviews particularly about the Sunday roast, and we had been looking forward to the meal, so we were a little disappointed with the experience. Couldn’t fault the staff, very attentive and efficient, but the food was not as good as we had expected.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyThe food was amazing, tasted delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and efficient, they looked after us extremely well. There was only 3 meal options on the lunch menu we were given unfortunately and myself and my friend felt it was expensive for the portion size we received.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyHad the lunch menu with my partner & little girl last week. Food was fabulous chicken supreme delish and so was the sticky toffee pud. Tom served us he was lovely..look forward to returning soon thanks Mustard great place x
Mustard & Co – CrosbyFabulous time had on Easter Sunday, food was beautiful and the service was impeccable. My only suggestion would be to have maybe additional options for starters on a Sunday that are more family/kids friendly than scallops, soup and bread rolls. Nothing wrong with those and all are amazing but limited younger ones to bread rolls, however those are lovely and the homemade butter is delicious. Would thoroughly recommend and deservedly gets it’s award as the 4th best place in the country for a Sunday Roast.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyThis was my first experience at Mustard and I was certainly impressed. Cosy little restaurant which packed a punch! The Sunday Roast Dinner was truly delicious. Stunning plate of food, you could tell each plate was presented with pride. Service was a joy, the young lady ensured water was on the table and generally catering to all our needs. Totally recommend and I’ll will be going back to try the afternoon tea with my mum.
Mustard & Co – Crosby08.04.22 - Attended the resteraunt after seeing many favourable reviews in the media and an offer of 50% voucher on local site. The selection of two “ Sessions “ when booking a reservation allows both diners and resteraunt to plan expectations and organise resources. The alternatives on the three course session allow a degree of choice on the night with the Taster option allows the resteraunt nto demonstrate their expertise across a variety of dishes. I found the delivery of a single Scallop for a starter disappointing in that there was not enough content to enjoy the accompanying vegetables and sauce. The rack of lamb dish was however very well cooked and well enough to enjoy. The service is operated by a team of young women who were attentive and available to take orders and clear finished plates. The casual environment fits well with the size of the resteraunt , but It does not fit with any customers who just want to “ Drop In “ for a cocktail or coffee. You cant please all the people all the time .I believe resteraunt should restrict the business model to doing what it does best.I find that the price for the threes dish menu to be too high and would be much more acceptable at a price of £30, with Taster menu priced at £50..At this level . I Believe this resteraunt would keep attracting those Customers who appreciate value fir money in a comfortable environment.. At the early evening we attended , there was also an extended delay in the delivery of the food , so would also recommend this delay be reduced..To aspire to any further gourmet accolades this resteraunt should just sharpen up on the delivery of good food while concentrating less on over presentation .
Mustard & Co – CrosbyAnother fantastic night!! New tasting menu is superb, the food was beautiful - cannot recommend it enough. Service as always was brilliant the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble! Cannot wait to go back again!! Thanks guys Kev & Al
Mustard & Co – CrosbyWent last Thursday for our wedding anniversary . The restaurant has a great atmosphere and intimacy, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and explained each of the courses on the taster menu with enthusiasm. The Wyre Valley Asparagus , The Loch Fyne scallop and Cumbrian Lamb Rack were particular highlights. We chose a bottle of wine to accompany the food but there is a wine pairing available too. Well done to all involved
Mustard & Co – CrosbyHad the afternoon. It exceeded our expectations. The savory selection, scones and deserts were incredible. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return in the future.
