Great character Pub with a somewhat quirky interior. Good food at a realistic price with excellent service. Set 2 and 3 course meals offering good value. Just off the tourist route but near Haytor Rocks, so good to combine a walk with a meal, Has a nice garden opposite. Parking is somewhat limited but available. Haven't stayed here, but believe the rooms are comfortable. Happy to recommend as well worth a visit.
Rock Inn – Newton AbbotI come here reguarly with family for any excuse that we can find - brilliant food and service. On my most recent visit a waiter approached to apologise for the delay as the Chef had made a mistake and so started a fresh batch, but it was nowhere near a long wait - just goes to show the lengths they go to to ensure nothing short of excellent us timer service. Will be back again for my birthday!
