Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthWonderful food and great value. Second visit and will definitely not be the last!
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthGreat food, reasonably priced, good atmosphere and fantastic vista over Plymouth harbour
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthThis is the 2nd time I've been here recently and it delivered again on the food. All delicious, a tadge more garlic in the garlic prawns required but other than that, superb. The gluten free and dairy free chocolate cake thing was beyond delicious.... So nice to have an option available and the sorbet was amazing. The entrance and hallway to the restaurant probably needs a spruce. However I would recommend as the food is very good and the setting perfect.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthAmazing food and service...delicious size plates and such a variety to choose from
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthFriendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious! Very accommodating.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthDelicious meal and lovely service
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthExcellent meal, good friendly service, fantastic sea views
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthAbsolutely delicious food and exceptional service from the staff, despite it being a very busy evening. The setting is lovely looking over the sea, and all the fairy lights as it gets dark. Good value for money as for 2 we paid £90 but that was including a bottle of wine, 3 double gins and lemonade and lots of tapas!
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthWe booked this for my partners birthday so I looked into it quite a bit, the photos online made it look like a beautiful place to spend a special day. Walking down the stairs I was worried what I had booked and started to regret my choice. Walking in there were chairs piled up along the wall, an obvious sign it wasn't busy as there were only 4 tables laid out. When a table freed up near the window we moved there so we could enjoy the view which was lovely and the food was great but unfortunately as we were finishing a group of 3 men turned up that were obviously very drunk and 1 guy fell asleep in the corner. We quickly finished up and left. The food was great and so tasty but unfortunately the atmosphere was ruined and we probably won't be back.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthLovely meal for 7 of us. Good choice of tapas (between us we tried a lot) and plenty of veggie/vegan options. Most things were lovely, Albondigas and patas bravas were lovely. Dessert was nice but churros a bit disappointing, not homemade and quite oily, the sauce was lush. Could do with som background music to help atmosphere. Bill was £250ish including drinks, not a cheap night but have paid more for not as nice.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthAlways a treat here to get a terrace table in the sun. Wine list is decent and food reliably great and authentic to the region. Thanks to Alex as wait staff; much appreciated.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthLucky we were able to sit outside in September and watch a wonderful sunset with the exceptional view which was matched by the food and Matt our excellent waiter. I can thoroughly recommend this tapas restaurant despite the external appearance downstairs on the terrace in the right weather I felt I was abroad!!
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthAs always great food, lovely staff and beautiful food ..what more could you want ! Thank you
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthThere were 6 of us aged 17 to 83. Hard to please everyone but we could choose what we liked and being a vegan myself it was nice to have so many options. Food arrived and we were all happy- the chips truly the best I have ever had. It felt like the food had been prepared with thought and care. Those that could fit in a pud said they were yummy too. Views amazing and only small criticism was it was sometimes hard to attract a member of staff if we wanted a drink etc..no one actually asked us if we wanted another drink. That aside we all said we would be back , such a hidden gem . Also we felt good value for money.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthWe were told by many that this was the place to be, so we thought we would give it a go as we enjoy Spanish cuisine and culture, however we left very disappointed. The food was way below what I was expecting, our waiter was quite miserable and the bill was high. I wouldn't have cared about the bill if the food was on point. Very disappointing unfortunately however I'm sure it's usually very good. I'd consider in the future spanish music for the restaurant.
