Leandra The – PlymouthI love the colour, smells and amazing culture. Dining with a difference. Well done!
Souk – PlymouthThis restaurant had a brilliant, lively atmosphere-great for a work night out, the tequila bar upstairs is excellent too, a little expensive though. But really good fun.
Arribas – PlymouthWe loved hooks but took the kids and found they didn? really have a children? menu so had to order and pay for adult meals that they couldn? manage....I would not recommend this restaurant for families....but it is great otherwise...I will be going again but without the kids
Hooks – TorquayWow! Best fish and chips I have ever had in a modern clean bistro environment. Five hungry golfers (played both Saunton courses) had fish and chips, desserts, delicious coffee and 2 bottles of wine, a Sauvignon blanc and a Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine. £14 per head. This establishment does everything right, from the welcome to the immaculately clean washrooms and I highly recommend it.
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonThe smith family We always come here on special occasions birthday ect and have done for the past 15 yrs Top marks to george
China Gardens – ExeterMe and the family go to Thariks every week for the past two years its a amazing place! food is wonderful the waiters are very friendly and helpful its the best Indian in tavey!! i recommend the Mix tikka special i never seen it in any other restaurant its a classic
Thariks Tandoori Restaurant – TavistockPretty nice place. Didn't really like the communal feel to it.
Willow Restaurant – Totnesa true gastro pub in this part of devon. very good with kids.
Rydon Inn and Restaurant – HolsworthyBest indian curry i ever had in my life.
Ganges The – ExeterI visited here the other night with a girlfriend for the first time - the service was excellent, and waitress sat down with and an explained all the dishes and made recommendations. The garlic spicy potatoes are fantastic, as is the lamb tagine. Very atmospheric with some beautiful lamps and decoration. Definitely planning on going again, a new favourite!
Souk – PlymouthClassic greasy spoon, open all night, would recommend the breakfast brunch. Have been here many times, always keen to go again, and covet most of the street signs!
Goodbodys – PlymouthAn excellent meal was had by me and my girlfriend, many many dishes to try out, in fact i'm just about to book our table for a meal tonight! Hope they have a table spare!!!
Poopdeck – BrixhamHave been here twice for lunch and cannot recommend it enough. We all had the three course lunchtime special for 12.99 (i think) and the standard of food and service compared with places I've visited in Plymouth that we've paid 100 for two of us. Portions might be a little small if you were ravenous but perfect for lunch. Staff were fantastic - never had to ask who had ordered what and we never felt rushed. I ate here about three years ago before the refurb - you wouldn't believe it was the same building.
Rose And Crown – PlymouthLovely location but quite honestly looking a little tired now! It was all ok but nothing really special
Waterfront – Plymouthyummmmmmmmmmmy.....really enjoyed it ...best fish n chips ive ever had.
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonWe were pleasantly surprised to come across The Mason's Arms in Knowstone over Easter. We were staying in nearby South Molton and the place was recommended to us. What a great meal we had! The food is excellent and so it should be as, I discovered, the owner is one of the country's top chefs with a pedigree as long as your arm. His wife does front of house and is charming. The choice on the menu is small, as is the dining room, but it is all fresh, local produce prepared to order. I had delicious scallops with vanilla to start and my wife a cracking apple pudding, which sounds mundane, but is very clever indeed. Nice selection of wines to go with it all, as well as a very welcoming bar. Top rate and at local prices too. We'll be back.
The Mason’s Arms – South MoltonIt's all relative and although this place is pricier than some other restaurants you really do get what you pay for. I can't recommend it highly enough everything about this place was fabulous - if you want somewhere truly wonderful for that special occasion visit this place!
