A real hidden treasure. I found the staff very friendly, the ales top notch and the food was in a class of it's own. I will certainly be visiting again and i recommend you do the same!!

Hunters Lodge Inn – AxminsterLovely cream teas!!! Very funky decor and style. Would go again definitely!
Montys – PlymouthWe ate here today and I have to say the food was excellent. Certainly as good as "The New Angel" at Dartmouth, - if not better. The ambience was good and the service friendly and attentive. The only issue I have is that they had a spacious "Loo" which is accessible for people in wheelchairs, but no ramp to get there, which is a real shame. It wasn't cheap, but still good for the quality. We could have gone for a "Light lunch" which was a main course and pudding for £14.95-excellent value. The problem was all the dishes were so tempting we had to try out as much as possible! I have to say I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues. We will definitely be returning.
Agaric – Newton AbbotThe beaver inn Appledore has a beautiful view from the restaurant which makes this dining venue that little bit more special Saturday nights they have entertainment and every month they hold the jazz club to some very impressive jazz artists some world renowned! So if you are ever in North Devon do yourself a favour and stop off at the beaver inn Appledore you'll not go wrong!!!
Beaver Inn The – BidefordOur first experience at Jelly Bellies was a Sunday lunch and what a Sunday lunch it was. The service was absolutely faultless, the ambience and surroundings, we felt, were quite cosmopolitan and the food was absolutely delicious and imaginative. We will most certainly be re-visiting and this time in an evening.
The White Hart – BarnstapleVery pleasant evening, Abbie and Duncan played the role of hosts very well. I never went to the Butterleigh under its previous owners so cannot comment, but if my experience is anything to go by - Duncan and Abbie will do very well. A great evening was had by all - many thanks to both the chef, the staff and to the owners for their hospitality!
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterI LOVE Crediton Tandoori. It is my all-time favourite place to get a curry. Being on a tight budget (I'm a singe mother) I can only afford to eat there on special occasions, which is a shame. It is a little more pricey than getting a take-away where I live, but with this place you really do get what you pay for. The food is out of this world, the service is faultless and the surroundings are lovely. Definitely well worth the money. :-)
Crediton Tandoori Restaurant and TakeAway – CreditonThis is the best Indian restaurant to go to if you are watching the cost, however the standard for food does not change. The food is as good as Baba's (the restaurant opposite which is far more expensive) however the only problem is the decor is a bit dated. Do not be put off though as the food is gorgeous. Chicken Moglai is my fav. We've been many times to this restaurant and not once had a bad meal there. Usually 2 of us can eat there for about £12 as it is 50% off all food, even starters and desert (although to be honest I? usually too full for desert!) We've even had big groups of us go (about 30 people) and there is so much space this is not a problem. They also do takeaway but you don? get the 50% off then (however we were given free pints whilst we waited! Don? think this is standard though). Totally recommend Ganges if you want good Indian food at non-silly prices.
Ganges – PlymouthThe night we visited they had problems with the power going on and off. They where all very friendly and we still had a good night out
Chulmleigh Tandoori – ChulmleighAmazing local produce with a very good service and you get what you pay for!
Chichester Arms – BarnstapleA superb hideaway in Dartmoor. I have been going to the Rock inn for ten years now and everything is always first class. The food is outstanding and the accommodation is very comfortable. Having lived in the Basque Country -which is second to none in terms of cuisine in Spain; the rock emulates their standards in freshness and quality. A night at the rock for 2 with 3 course dinner and breakfast is the best value for money I have found in Devon (approx £140). Well done and see you soon. Colin Campbell EXETER
Rock Inn – Newton AbbotWe returned to the Puffing Billy to find it had new owners. The food is still out of this world, and the service was pretty good too. However the atmosphere is not quite the same as it used to be. We thought the lights were pretty bright and the music was wrong (The Prodigy!). The prices have dropped a bit too. Overall it was a good experience but would now consider it to be more of a lunch venue than somewhere for a romantic evening meal.
Puffing Billy Inn – Topshami was very pleased with the service that The New Inn gave me. They cooked a lovely meal and it was the best steak i have tasted. My friend recommended it to me and i am glad that she did. I had a wonderful night.
New Inn The – TotnesA superb restaurant with loads of ambience.
Hooks – TorquayOutstanding restaurant with lovely food. I have visited this restaurant many many times and not once was i disappointed with the food. This place is very surprising, its quite small and doesnt look like anything special from the outside. But the staff are friendly and the with the superb food this place is one of the best Indian's in Plymouth.
Mutley Spice – PlymouthFantastic nice staff good place to be seen will be back
Hare And Hounds – Newton Abbotdespite the fact that prices have just been put up, its still the best and most genuine Indian in Plymouth (possibly this side of Bristol...??!) excellent selection of PROPER indian dishes, always hard to choose even for a dedicated carnivore like myself. lunch menu is good too...!!
Veggie Perrins – PlymouthFantastic quality produce, served by very friendly and knowledgeable staff - a great little find
