Very good
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterThis restaurant is in Newton Poppleford, near Sidmouth. Husband and wife team doing all the right things with fresh, seasonal and, where possible, local ingredients. Small menu which inspires confidence. Fish, seafood, meat. Good vegetarian menu, too. I would eat there every week if I could afford it.
Moores Restaurant – SidmouthA great night, Wes & George very welcoming.
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterIt is always a pleasure to eat in Harrys. It is by far my favourite in East Devon. I travel 17 miles twice a month to eat there and it is worth every mile. The staff are fantastic, the food and wine as good, ambience and surroundings always fun, and most of all, excellent value for money.
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterThe food at this establishment was so fantastic that I went back to eat there 4 times in one week. The menu is inventive and imaginative and presentation was second to none. The Chef takes time to come out of the kitchen and speak to his customers?infact I spent sometime in his company and nothing is too much trouble for him. This is a first class restaurant and very reasonably priced considering the class of meals served. This is not a "CHEESY CHIPS" roadside diner but a superb a la carte restaurant and should be visited at the earliest opportunity. GREAT FOOD - WELL PRICED AND SUPERB SERVICE!

Betty Cottles Inn – OkehamptonA excellant selection of the finest tandori dishes. A very clean restaurant.
Crediton Tandoori Restaurant and TakeAway – CreditonVery pleasant, could not fault it on any thing and the staff are very friendly.
Eastern Eye – PlymouthSpot on stuff in Plymouth? student quarter. This is the place for fresh seafood; try the Yealm oysters, grilled with three simple sauces. This little bistro is well worth finding for the coffee alone!
Bistro One – PlymouthA true Italian atmosphere, but more important: exquisite, genuine food. Don't miss it! (Tasted by Italians!)
Giovanni’s Restaurant – BarnstapleMy wife and I read the review by, of course, anonymous, with some amusement, this had to be written by somebody who has not visited this pub, the most expensive item on our menu is duck breast fillet with a plum caramelised plum sauce for £11.50 and even allowing for the most expensive starters at £5.50 each and sweets at £3.75 this so called unhappy customers bill would not have reached well over £100. My message is this Mr. anonymous, if you have ever eaten here, and I don't think you have for one minute, show us your email address. Graham and Sue Levick.earlofportsmouth-pub.co.uk
Earl Of Portsmouth The – ChulmleighTucked away on Ebrington Street in Plymouth this restaurant is excellent. It offers a fresh, locally produced menu, which although isn't extensive is absolutely sublime. I would say ditch the table coverings and put on some music and it would be a hit (if it isn't already). Wine tasting evenings will be available shortly.
Bistro One – PlymouthSince Bar Venezia has been re-opened as a Mediterranean Restaurant, I can't stop myself from going and sampling dishes from Spain, France, Portugal, Greece and Italy. Wow...
Bar Venezia – ExeterI have been to Starz twice now; most recent was for a Hen Party. I have to say, they were fantastic. Food was amazing everyone was so friendly making sure you have everything you need, they are really good with large groups of people too. I will definitely re visit as often as I can. But Book in advance, they do get very busy. Thanks Starz
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterGood variety of tapas but only 3 main courses to choose from. Didn? feel very welcomed by the waitress, maybe because it was busy. Tapas of lamb kebabs, air dried tuna, marinated olives, olives wrapped in anchovy were DELICIOUS. Saw two couples being turned away on a Wednesday night.
Moorish – Newton AbbotI've been to Starz many times and have always been impressed by the waiting staff and good the food is. Although trying to book there now is a nightmare it? so busy every night of the week!!!!!! But just recently the staff seemed too have the lost the smile off there face and don't seemed to enjoy it as much. I and my family were served by Lynsey last time I was there and she was fantastic, always smiling and added to our night. I did miss the restaurant manger I think he was called Stuart always had a smile on his face and the waiting staff seemed to buzz of him, plus he was really good to my little sister when she went there for her 22nd birthday.
