Birds Nest Chinese Restaurant – TavistockThe Bearslake Inn is an olde worlde pub the like of which you do not come upon often. The rooms are individually furnished to match the age of the Inn. I stayed here at the end of September once the summer rush had finished. The food was still excellent. Breakfast was a full hearty english if you wished - in my case I ordered boiled eggs along with cereal orange juice and as much tea coffee and toast as I could eat. The dinner was of even higher quality,. I ate there twice during my stay and both times could not find anything to complain about - I chose the mushrooms as a starter and the barbary duck for my first meal completed by the crepes - delicious!! The second time I had the maize fed chicken which was as nice although i did not have a desert as a birthday cake arrived for me in the nick of time!! The pub is a family run business by people who cannot do enough for you and I would highly recommend it for either lunch (if you are hungry after the huge breakfast) or your evening dinner.
Bearslake Inn – OkehamptonGreat little pub, if you can find it, the food is freshly cooked to order and reasonably priced. the beer is good with 3 real ales on constantly, a good cider and the usual continental lager's. well worth a visit for either a quite drink or a lively friday or saturday night
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterSimple food cooked very well well at a give away price. Highly recommende
Bridge Inn The – HolsworthyFantastic food, the five courses for £29 is fab, the amuse bouche the best! Iam a fussy vegetarian, and always enjoy the food at Tanners..I dare anyone to disaggree!!
Tanners Restaurant – PlymouthGood wholesome cavery food with specials on offer as well. Recommend the Turkey & Ham pie as well as the Venison & Steak pie, both of which were made on site, not out of a packet and bunged in the microwave. A 3 course dinner for 2, excluding alcohol, was £28. Very reasoanble considering the generous portions. A family friendly atmosphere, but book to avoid disappointment as this is a very popular pub / restaurant!!

Al Farid – ExeterI have used Mutley spice many times for many different types of meals. As of yet I have never had anything other than superb food. I would not rate this restaurant if I was not 100% satisfied. Steve Williamson Plymouth
