Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthThis restaurant is in a wonderful situation, overlooking Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island. The food was well prepared, full of flavour and served by attentive waitresses. For some there is the draw back of many stairs.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthExcellent tapas! Portion size: We had seven dishes between 3 adults and a child; just right. Good service but, although great view, the environment was a bit bare. Recommended!
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthOur second visit in a month and once again excellent food with a well balanced selection of exquisite dishes. There were enough tweaks and changes in the menu between the two visits that we did not feel the experience was a repetition. Occasional slips in service were more than compensated by the jolly welcome and generous spirit (we were told there had been some last minute staffing challenges). Given the small number of covers and the technical nature of the cooking the margins must be very tight- it certainly is not cheap but I believe it is good value.
Robert Bryant at Maiden Arch – BarnstapleI love this restaurant so much. The food is incredible, the ambiance is just right and I definitely will be returning
Robert Bryant at Maiden Arch – BarnstapleHad a great evening at the restraunt, we booked a table for 7 and the staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering the different dishes.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthVisited Saturday afternoon as a group of 7. Beautiful view, great choice of tapas and drinks, lovely service, no long waits and we found it really good value for the amount of food and drinks we had. Food was delicious as were the drinks and we will definitely visit again

Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthWe had a lovely visit on a Summer evening. The menu had good choices, the food was presented well and we really enjoyed the dishes we selected. The location is fantastic with great views over the Sound. The staff and service were very good, and overall we would thoroughly recommend Maritimo.

Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthTruly a hidden gem! We have just experienced the most perfect evening at Maiden Arch; the food (7 course tasting menu- which we highly recommend) was a gastronomic delight to the senses, everything so well though out and balanced, the flavours exquisite, with fusions of unexpected ingredients, interestingly delightful textures. The relaxed but atmospheric setting, the music piano covers of modern tunes which both me & my partner loved, and last but not least, the waiter, was truly exceptional, friendly, polite, professional, personable and just an absolute joy to have met. Incredibly talented chef, more than deserving of a Michelin Star! Thank you so much for an unforgettable evening, we will be back!
Robert Bryant at Maiden Arch – BarnstapleExcellent food, great location, friendly staff. Been back a few times and will visit again.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthGreat service and excellent tapas.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthYou've heard of cooks taking revenge on customers who complain? It happened to me here after I returned an overcooked steak. What came back was a steak which was raw in the centre and garnished with a curly black hair. Disgusting.
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterGreat food lovely atmosphere & good service will definitely head back
