Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonI have been to this restaurant a few times since it opened. I am well adversed in Indian food and enjoy it great deal I strongly believe that a few small, but important changes can be made to take this place to the next level. On my last visit, the table clothes where dirty, I asked for a clean one and was informed they had none, and it was the people who eat in the restaurant who made them dirty.!They where unable to move are party to another table I asked the waiter to explain the ingredients on a particular dish, he nor his work colleagues where able too. If they are able to sort out the basic fundamental principles of running a restaurant I am sure they will do well. In sort, the service needs to improve a great deal, educated staff need to be employed, the food was enjoyable but not outstanding. Would think twice before I would go again.
Nibana Indian Restaurant – PlymouthPlease don't bother..whilst this is a lovely place now I am disabled I am not allowed to keep my walking frame with me for health and safety laws!!!!!!!! have they heard of equal rights for disabled people? LOL!!!! no !!!!!
East Gate Cafe and Brasserie The – TavistockBrilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. This is the only word to describe the whole squires experience. By far the best Fish and Chips ever. The portions are great and the prices brilliant. Well done the Squires family.
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonWOW these are without doubt the best chips we have ever had, fish was good too, there was a young man offering tasters outside the shop great idea, everyone was going in to buy after tasting,
Scoffs – PaigntonVisited this Saturday for lunch. Was very disappointed with the food as it was all nearly cold, and was quite pricey, Would think twice about visiting again.
Welcome Inn – DawlishFamily friendly and always welcoming fast delivery service also available and the food is always excellent
Honeymoon Chinese and Thai Restaurant – BarnstapleRecently changed hands. Gone is the hand picked crab, Gone is the extensive fresh local produce menu, Gone is the wide variety of fish dishes so excellently prepared and served. Now it seems "out-of-the-packet" - might attract grockles, but not me.
Crabshell Inn – KingsbridgeI have eaten twice at this restaurant recently with a party of friends. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service really friendly and welcoming. This is rapidly becoming my favourite place to eat in Plymouth.
The Noodle Lounge – PlymouthScoffs is the best ever fish and chips you will ever taste and i want one to open in Plymouth
Scoffs – PaigntonIdeal place for a romantic Dinner for two or a family gathering. We celebrated our Sons 21st with a family dinner at the Jack recently and everyone had a very good meal, reasonable priced and a good selection of wine and Ales. Paul is a great host, his staff trained very well and its somewhere we always recommend.
Jack In The Green Inn – Exeterham egg and chips was good. However the roast potatoes served were empty from sitting in the oven for too lone, the veg chilli was barely edible and the steak and ale pie had very little filling. It has to be said that the chips which replaced the roasties were quite nice
Avon Inn The – South BrentScoffs, the best fish & chips ever tasted - open one near me in Kent
Scoffs – Paigntonan amazing evening, beautiful interior, simple but very effective with a lovely red glow inside when the sun went down!! drinks next to the stream on a beautiful sunset then inside for dinner. wonderful staff, very friendly and good looking, with a brilliant service and smile. food was delicious and VERY affordable. didn't have a pizza but they looked incredible. all in all a very memorable evening, thank you. will defo be back
The Riverside – BrauntonEnjoyed 2 very nice, good value meals at Tyme during our stay at one of the cottages belonging to the hotel. Not a wide-ranging menu (difficult if you're changing every evening and quite a small concern), but still enough choice to find acceptance with 2 adults, 2 teens and a non-too-adventurous grandma! Good, friendly service. Altogether an experience we would look to repeat.
Tyme Restaurant at Trimstone Manor – WoolacombeStunning location but let down by its success. On two occasions the 'specials' were not available, a 40 minute wait for food, and a need to queue again to order coffee. The food, when it arrived, was excellent. Parking, even with a disabled badge, is nigh on impossible and should be addressed urgently.
Seco Lounge – PlymouthWe tried the plaice at the london fryer when we were on holiday and liked it so much we called in every night for the same.It was brilliant value at £2.65 and was cooked fresh while we waited
London Fryer Fish Restaurant – Paigntoni have 2 disagree with the other comments i went there monday as I've just got back from torquay and i myself tried this place i ordered a chicken tikka missala and i asked 4 it to be done sweet and creamy it was creamy ok but not sweet 1 bit compared to the balti gardens in abby road. i went here on the monday night as the balti gardens was closed that nite. ok they changed it but they should have done it right when i stated that when i ordered my meal. its not the best 1 in torquay as ive read on various sites here that will be the balti garden because they do the food right 1st time u order it which is how it should be done.
