Quay 33 – Plymouthlove this place have now been 3 times and never been disappointed. love the food, highly recommend it the cleanliness, the atmosphere, the staff.
Route 38 – PlymouthI had never tried the breakfast at the Waterside Bistro, I'm not sure why, since the quality, portion size and presentation were all top notch. Great value, try it!! Mark
Waterside Bistro – TotnesOne of the best Sunday Lunches we have had in Torbay, we will be in Torbay next week and will be calling again on Sunday, in fact we have just got your phone no on the web, and will be calling to make a reservation later in the week.
Hare And Hounds – Newton AbbotSunday lunch at the Green Dragon is not to be missed the gravy is to die for and the whole meal is fantastic and such great value, hope they do Christmas Lunches this year if so we will be there.
Green Dragon Inn The – OkehamptonThe best Fish & Chips in the South West and probably in the country. Try their "Krispie!" chips and you will never buy chips anywhere else
Krispies – ExeterI would completely avoid this one based on the poor service and poor quality of food. Took almost one hour to be served once the waitress finally took the order. Drinks were very cold due to waiting. Apologies were made but needed someone with more authority to explain why. £26 later for 3 adults and 1 child. The haddock was of low quality and very little taste! Had far better from Morrisons cafe! I would be happy to receive contact from the manager! Hope you add this to your site as I will be looking! If not I would like you to contact me as to why not. Thanks. Keith Allan (07894 944745).
Brixham Fish Restaurant – BrixhamThe Mason's Arms was recommended by a work colleague when we told him we were staying in east Somerset. A bit of a trek to find it but thanks to sat nav we made it in good time. It's basically an ancient village pub in Knowstone, to the south of Exmoor, that has been taken over by a Michelin-starred chef (from the Roux brothers' Waterside Inn at Bray, I believe). There's a small public bar which retains its character (as well as the odd local), a lounge-cum-waiting area and the small restaurant to the rear which has great rural views and a slightly bizarre mix of plain wooden furniture and a ceiling straight out of the Sistine Chapel. Still, it’s not at all stuffy here and you really don’t want stuffy dining rooms in the middle of Devon, do you? There’s a good wine list and a simple menu choice of five or six starters, mains and desserts. The food was top quality and beautifully presented – as you would expect from a Michelin-starred venue. Didn’t break the bank either. The only downer is that unless you are staying very local, one of you has to drive.
The Mason’s Arms – South MoltonI just celebrated my birthday at Caseys Diner in Paignton, we all had a fantastic time, the food was great and very well priced, I had smothered chicken and my hubby had an amazing steak, the kiddies meals were brought out in cars and they got a toy too, the desserts were fab and huge, Thank you caseys for making my birthday so special! Will definitely be back again soon!
Caseys Diner – PaigntonLast July, Saturday at about 8pm, hungry and no place to sleep, we were lucky enough to stop at the Kings Arms, which provided absolutely delicious and gourmet food and a spontaneous help to find rooms for the five of us. Thanks, Nigel, for your kindness and the wonderful dinner and good luck to you!We wish we lived closer so we could enjoy your place often.
Kings Arms Bar Bistro – Holsworthyhaving been to scoffs having had a great meal for the first time we found the premises clean and efficient and the staff kind and friendly.on leaving the lady on the till thanked us for coming and eating with us .we recommend for any one to try.
Scoffs – PaigntonI wouldn't recommend this restaurant in the world the manager carol is rude and disrespectful and needs a make over and a attitude change towards her staff and customers. When i visited this restaurant the service was terrible and i wont be going there any time soon.
Scoffs – PaigntonFab! Defo recommend
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonI have been to this restaurant a few times since it opened. I am well adversed in Indian food and enjoy it great deal I strongly believe that a few small, but important changes can be made to take this place to the next level. On my last visit, the table clothes where dirty, I asked for a clean one and was informed they had none, and it was the people who eat in the restaurant who made them dirty.!They where unable to move are party to another table I asked the waiter to explain the ingredients on a particular dish, he nor his work colleagues where able too. If they are able to sort out the basic fundamental principles of running a restaurant I am sure they will do well. In sort, the service needs to improve a great deal, educated staff need to be employed, the food was enjoyable but not outstanding. Would think twice before I would go again.
Nibana Indian Restaurant – PlymouthPlease don't bother..whilst this is a lovely place now I am disabled I am not allowed to keep my walking frame with me for health and safety laws!!!!!!!! have they heard of equal rights for disabled people? LOL!!!! no !!!!!
East Gate Cafe and Brasserie The – TavistockBrilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. This is the only word to describe the whole squires experience. By far the best Fish and Chips ever. The portions are great and the prices brilliant. Well done the Squires family.
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonWOW these are without doubt the best chips we have ever had, fish was good too, there was a young man offering tasters outside the shop great idea, everyone was going in to buy after tasting,
