well after eating here, both myself was feeling sick and my partner was up all night being sick, and no we did'nt go on the piss up after the meal, we went home. We won't be eating there again that's for sure!

Spice Well – PlymouthAte last night, great setting (despite price tags on everything) and friendly staff. Unfortunately heating had broken which wasn't ideal in January! Food was very good, however Tagines were small in size, and don't think the 6 Mezzes would be enough for two. Bit expensive for amount, and extra for pitta, no starters/dips and expensive mint tea. Overall o.k. but could do a lot better.
Food was superb, nicely decorated and clean. Much better now with the new owners, tidy and real log fires. Definitely a MUST GO and EAT. Plenty of room for parking and friendly girls behind the bar and in the restaurant. Good selection of beer for the boys plus real ales.
The Lamb Inn – ExeterI Recommend The Eastern Eye 100% It Has Great Service And Unbelievable Meals. They Have Poppadoms And Dips At The Start And Give You A Large Meal, Then Offer Delightful Dessert Selections, Then Free Sambuca And Tia Maria To End. With Mints. Although Not The Cheapest Of Places It Is Highly Recommended And Ideal For A Large Social Event Or A Small Meal. Service Is The Best I Have Ever Had, So When Looking For A Place To Eat Go To The Eastern Eye!
Eastern Eye – PlymouthHighly recommended!!!! Platters food is always excellent, so much choice (if you like fish!).... The platter of fish is excellent, and more chips than you know what to do with! As for the takeaway, best fish'n'chips in town... no chicken though...shame!
Platters – PlymouthWe went back to Bistro One after a while away from Plymouth. December is not always the best time to experience good food and wine due to larger parties but this was an exception with an excellent atmosphere and sympathetic cooking. We ate simply with Venison as our main course with a lovely bottle of Spanish red wine. Faultless cooking and a smashing evening. This is an excellent Bistro we love to visit and will more in 2009. Bravo to Bistro One. Robin
Bistro One – PlymouthWhen ever i visit seaton i always use this pub. The staff are very friendly and polite, the food is excellent what ever time of the day you go, also the Sunday dinners are very good you get a good choice of locally grown veg and meat from local farms
Kings Arms The – SeatonI recommend this restaurant because it a nice has a nice comfy atmosphere and the food is top class quality! If looking for an Indian restaurant in the town of Exmouth then please take my recommendation and go to the tandoori nights restaurant! PS: you get a free chocolate when you pay up at the end
Tandoori Nights – ExeterGreat food. Plenty of it. Cook have a wicked sense of humour and the bar staff are very friendly and made us Aussies feel right at home. This pub became our local whilst in the area. Highly recommend it.
Half Moon Inn The – PaigntonWe went to the Linny Inn for our office Christmas lunch. I was slightly apprehensive as I had recommended it to my colleagues. But I needn't have worried, it was superb. A traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, plenty of choice and all beautifully cooked. I've now been made social secretary!
Linny Inn The – Newton AbbotNICE AND FRIENDLY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY THE CHEF WAS VERY HELPFUL NICE LAD QUALITY OF FOOD OUTSTANDING NICE PRESENTATION WILL RECOMMENDED TO FRIENDS WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK a+++
Exchange The – IvybridgeThis Restaurant is Amazing, a Delicious home made meal and The best Christmas Decorations i have EVER seen in a restaurant!!
The Flintlock Inn – HonitonExcellent place! Only went in there two nights and I feel as I know all in there already. Great atmosphere and great beer! If you go in ask if MAN AT THE BAR is around!
Winstons Bar and Grill – SeatonAwful food, the landlady Jane was a moody old hag, she had her family in on the day we visited what a bunch of hooligans, they were loud/abusive and left a trail of litter behind them, they got everything for free and we got nothing, how this pub makes a profit i dont know. Dont visit its awful go somewhere else, food was cold and tasteless spend you hard earned cash elsewhere
Best food in Plymouth. Always do corporate entertaining here. Guests we take always ask if they can go back next time. Reasonable prices, large portions and always delicious.
Village Restaurant The – PlymouthA small n cosy tuck-away serving authentic Cantonese cuisine, perhaps explaining the lack of variation on the menu.
The Noodle Lounge – PlymouthI visited Harry's a couple of months ago with a bunch of girlfriends and was disappointed with the food. I had over-priced chicken burger and fries, which was very plain and the portion was small. Tables were far too squashed together and staff rushed so service slow. It was a very busy Friday evening but I thought the atmosphere was more fast food place and lacked soul and atmosphere. Vicki
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterComfortable welcoming pub/restaurant which is both professionally and personally runwith care and flair by its owners. Puts many other venues in the coastal North Devon area to shame when it comes to having a comprehensive menu that is not reliant on frozen ready meals from Philip Dennis - as most in the area sadly are - and when it comes to service....
