Great food. Plenty of it. Cook have a wicked sense of humour and the bar staff are very friendly and made us Aussies feel right at home. This pub became our local whilst in the area. Highly recommend it.

Half Moon Inn The – PaigntonWe went to the Linny Inn for our office Christmas lunch. I was slightly apprehensive as I had recommended it to my colleagues. But I needn't have worried, it was superb. A traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, plenty of choice and all beautifully cooked. I've now been made social secretary!
Linny Inn The – Newton AbbotNICE AND FRIENDLY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY THE CHEF WAS VERY HELPFUL NICE LAD QUALITY OF FOOD OUTSTANDING NICE PRESENTATION WILL RECOMMENDED TO FRIENDS WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK a+++
Exchange The – IvybridgeThis Restaurant is Amazing, a Delicious home made meal and The best Christmas Decorations i have EVER seen in a restaurant!!
The Flintlock Inn – HonitonExcellent place! Only went in there two nights and I feel as I know all in there already. Great atmosphere and great beer! If you go in ask if MAN AT THE BAR is around!
Winstons Bar and Grill – SeatonAwful food, the landlady Jane was a moody old hag, she had her family in on the day we visited what a bunch of hooligans, they were loud/abusive and left a trail of litter behind them, they got everything for free and we got nothing, how this pub makes a profit i dont know. Dont visit its awful go somewhere else, food was cold and tasteless spend you hard earned cash elsewhere
Best food in Plymouth. Always do corporate entertaining here. Guests we take always ask if they can go back next time. Reasonable prices, large portions and always delicious.
Village Restaurant The – PlymouthA small n cosy tuck-away serving authentic Cantonese cuisine, perhaps explaining the lack of variation on the menu.
The Noodle Lounge – PlymouthI visited Harry's a couple of months ago with a bunch of girlfriends and was disappointed with the food. I had over-priced chicken burger and fries, which was very plain and the portion was small. Tables were far too squashed together and staff rushed so service slow. It was a very busy Friday evening but I thought the atmosphere was more fast food place and lacked soul and atmosphere. Vicki
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterComfortable welcoming pub/restaurant which is both professionally and personally runwith care and flair by its owners. Puts many other venues in the coastal North Devon area to shame when it comes to having a comprehensive menu that is not reliant on frozen ready meals from Philip Dennis - as most in the area sadly are - and when it comes to service....
Hele Billys – IlfracombeDont go there its! Stay away!.....That way it wont be fully booked when i next want to go!!!!
East Of The Water – BidefordMy husband took me to Il Casita to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wow, this is what I call a restaurant! Most Italian restaurants in England are just pasta and pizza but this was just like being back in Italy again with good food and a nice wine list. The cutlery and glasses were spotless! Excellent value for money and we shall certainly be back again very soon.
Il Casita – CreditonJust rang the famous Harry's to book a table and was basically told to sod off. I was informed that he was unable to take my booking because he was busy and he only answered the phone so it would stop ringing! As someone who has worked in the catering industry as well other service industry I am appalled that people can find this acceptable! A very bad first impression
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterThe food here is fairly expensive but worth everything! It is so delicious and creamy, and always served with a smile by the very friendly staff. The place is nicely decorated, and in the warmer months there is a lovely courtyard out the back. I will love them forever since they gave us all free shots for my birthday, anyway!
Il Casita – CreditonI have dined at the Sloop Inn many times when visiting the gorgeous South Hams region and have been delighted with the service and food. However, to my dismay, early in November having looked forward to a scrumptious fish and chips at the Sloop, I was very disappointed. The fish batter was hard and over cooked causing the fish to be dried out and the chips, well the less said the better. We asked the waitress for tatare sauce which did not appear, we asked again and had almost finished our meal before it appeared.
Sloop Inn – KingsbridgeWe had a great meal here, good pub food. There were many things on the menu that were delicious!
Peter Tavy Inn – TavistockLovely stylish gastro pub. We went on a dark winter evening but I'm sure it would be beautiful to sit by the lake in the summer. Food was good, Decor fab and staff were friendly. We'll be back.
Turtley Corn Mill – South BrentWe hadn't been in the Burrator for some years and were pleased to see they have had a lovely refurb. They place looks very fresh and yet still cosy. We didn't eat but the menu looked very good and was reasonably priced. The bar man was very friendly and there was a pub quiz on at the time. We were told they have live bands often and also offer free drinks for the driver which we thought was a very responsible thing to do. We'll be visiting again.
