Excellent meal. The bread & butter pudding was the best I've ever tasted. We are coming back to North Devon this Year just for the carvery.

Williams Arms – BrauntonHad a very enjoyable meal last night. Although it was very busy, the staff still had time to talk and explain the dishes. In fact they could not have been more helpful. We even had a free glass of champagne which I found out about through this website (special offers)
Souk – PlymouthI had my birthday here last year. There was about 12 of us and it was one of the best nights. The staff went out of there way to make it a fantastic evening. The music was excellent and everyone was encouraged to dance. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to have a great evening with good food.
Grecian Taverna The – PlymouthI went there for the first time with my mother. She doesn? like spicy food but we just wanted something light for lunch. We ended having the soup which was a meal in its self. The waitress was very helpful with the suggestion. I Would definitely go there again.
Wagamama – Exeterlove the place, did my steak exactly how i wanted it and even brought out two different types uncooked so i could better decide. also allowed me to deviate from the set menu slightly to accommodate my larger appetite! well worth the money.
Countess Wear Beefeater – ExeterFresh cooked food in a homely atmosphere - customers treated like friends
Combe Cottage – IlfracombeThe Shepherds restaurant had an amazing array of food, much locally sourced. The lasagne was to die for - I asked for the recipe! The staff were brilliant and made us feel like we were long lost friends. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with fresh flowers on the tables and quaint ceramic cruets in the shape of sheep, available in the sheepy shop for a very reasonable price.
Big Sheep The – BidefordWent there for a birthday meal, the food was excellent and good value for the money. All had a fab time, everywhere is decorated with a American theme.
Ocean Drive – TorquaySpent a glorious evening at this exquisite restaurant. The individual attention to detail is the best I've seen. Organic cauliflower soup to die for, tiny onion tarts (one so not enough!) and seared local sea trout on a bed of baby broad beans and swede. And if that wasn't enough - chocolate pudding that melts in the mouth. All accompanied by a superb bottle of organic Sancerre. What a treat - can't wait to repeat the experience!
ODE Restaurant – TeignmouthWent for a slap up meal with a group of friends, it turned out to be a great night with excellent food and good fun too. Good wine and a cracking selection of real ales. If you dont try it you will never know what you are missing. (I had the most beautiful piece of steak ever)
Foxhound Inn The – PlymouthReally really enjoyed our meal here. The menu is better than the average Italian as there is also steaks and fish dishes as well as the pizza and pasta and risottos. Lovely waiter, the place was full on a Tuesday night so I would book if you want a table at the weekend. Bill was reasonable.
Strada – ExeterWe ate at this restaurant this lunchtime 17.5.07. The portions were good, The sweet portion was enormous, but being in Devon we thought there would have been clotted cream. We will be returning at a future date. Well worth a visit
Rydon Inn and Restaurant – Holsworthywow!!! what a venue. not a bad word to say. food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and attentive. best night out in ages
Jingles – TorquayFantastic food with a friendly & efficient service. Great atmosphere! Will go back for sure. Tell your friends!
