Chulmleigh Tandoori – ChulmleighGood place to go to catch up with friends food was outstanding i loved the flavours and the staff was really friendly, extra tip for them.
Chulmleigh Tandoori – ChulmleighWe have been to many restaurants for this type of food and all i can say is it was awesome. The Food we had 'fajita combo' was piled high. if I had known i would have not had a starter. Then I would have space to fit it all. the drinks are well priced and many choices available. This place is a must.
Jingles – TorquayPub full of character, staff very friendly. New French chef/owner and partner are making great fresh pub food with a French twist. Good beer and wine. Carvery all day every Sundays £8 (my favourite). A must try !!!!
Claycutters Arms – Newton AbbotEvery year I go on holiday to Devon and was looking for a nice place to go to and sit in with the family, i found chulmleigh Tandoori. they was all friendly, the owner was very nice aswell as i met him in person, shamim, i recommend this place. i had kp dhansak and it was perfect. the flavour was really nice. the kids loved it and so did the wife. i always go there when im in devon.
Chulmleigh Tandoori – ChulmleighThis has to be one of the best restaurants I've eaten in. The food is always superb. The price is relative; it would cost twice as much in London, and you could pay more in some Devon restaurants. I would rather pay a little more for a meal that is really good, than save a few bob to get rubbish
Agaric – Newton Abboti found this place outstanding and very friendly, as they are well trained and i fink they have the best food in this trade soo far.
Hoi Shing – DawlishFirst time visit and had a superb Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and quality food.
Crealock Arms The – BidefordSit and enjoy your food in one of the plushest Chinese restaurants around. The best time to go is when they have their Buffet nights when the food is plentiful and very reasonably priced. Although the drinks are a bit on the expensive side.
Noble House – ExeterAn oasis in a sea of restaurants in Dartmouth what a find, will come again.
Sails Restaurant – DartmouthWe went to this restaurant just before going to the cinema next door - and it was fab - really reminded me of new york which I have before visited. Loved the toilets where it taught you how to speak italian - made the visit all the more worth while!!!!! Food was lovely with great service. All open kitchens so you can see the food being cooked!
Frankie and Bennys – Plymouthi came to the church house in the summer in a very busy time of year and i was still made to feel welcome. i was served by two young waiters one of which was ginger who i later found out was called ashley. both of them were charming and helpful. the food was brilliant in taste smell and looks. i will be returning for a meal every time i come back down to the area and i hope it stays the same.
Church House Inn – KingsbridgeI went to the Lansdowne the other night as my starting point before a night out and was very impressed with the warm welcome i got from Alan the barman. Andy the karaoke man was very entertaining and the atmosphere is tremendous.
Lansdowne Inn – TorquayLovely Food and Location. Expensive
Oyster Shack The – KingsbridgeI have been to the China house about 8 times with my husband and we try a different meal every time we have enjoyed every one of them, we have also taken our son & daughter and there partners + grandchildren for a meal the service is excellent and they are very good with the children .
China House The – PlymouthHaving tried the other "tanners" i was every bit as impressed with this welcome addition to the Plymouth restaurant scene. the service is excellent but discreet and the range of dishes on the menu will suit all tastes and budgets. modern decor with a relaxing atmosphere makes it a great night out.
Barbican Kitchen – PlymouthWe were so excited when Nando's opened in Plymouth! Our children love it and it's perfect for an impromptu family meal. How can I describe it...the menu's confusing, there's some kind of Portuguese/Brazilian theme, but the company is south African...you pay when you order, so you don't get hassled into ordering pudding and coffee, or even tipping- they want you out quick. oh and don't go if you don't like chicken - or terrible puns involving clucking!
Nando’s – PlymouthI was staying at The Ashfield On Scarborough Road for a length of time And The lady there(Ann) recommended i come along here for my evening meals well i can tell you I was not disappointed the food is cooked to order the staff are a friendly lot the Landlady has a wonderful sense of humour relaxed cosy and excellent value As Ann said they use it all the time and i can see why and i suppose this is a plug for Ashfield Guest House excellent accommodation nothing too much trouble will be definitely going back to these two places
