Rendezvous 10 Wine Bar – ExeterExcellent service, our waitress had a lot of tables the night we went, but had time for everyone. nothing was too much trouble, steaks were 1 well done, 1 rare, both were very good, i had burger - also very tasty! liked the atmosphere & decor, very relaxing, will be back within a month as an enjoyable experience
Bella Italia – Plymouthenjoyed it very much - changed my opinion on a carvery- staff where very attentive and the dining room with that stage coach was lovely - definitely go again.
Jethros – OkehamptonThis place is a gem. Located in the tiny village of Milton Coombe, we visited the Inn with our Insight Tour Director. A quaint British Pub with excellent fair (eg organic icecream with clotted cream). A very good selection of cold beers and English ales.
Who’d Have Thought It Inn – YelvertonOne of my favourite restaurants in Plymouth, excellent food, delicious!! Although a little pricey the food is different to what you get elsewhere, really classy and the food preparation is spot on. The food is always well cooked and you have so much to choose from. I can't wait to travel to Plymouth for my next visit to Piermaster .... 5 stars all round.
Quay 33 – PlymouthWe have been to the Mason's Arms twice this year. Both visits have been superb. I took my parents there two weeks ago. I had been raving on about it for months after the first visit and persuaded them to come and see for themselves. They had a wonderful evening and my Father felt it was the best food he had ever had! (My parent regularly eat in good restaurants in England and France.) The food was excellent and although pricey was excellent value. We has 3 courses, coffee, 2.5 bottles of wine and a round of drinks for £50 per person.
The Mason’s Arms – South MoltonStumbled across Cook Island whilst on holiday just outside Ilfracombe. We thoroughly enjoyed the carvery at £8.95 per adult. Vegetables were cooked beautifully and there was a great selection too. Great play area for children aged 3 to 15 years. Very clean. Only problem was not enough tables. Staff very friendly.
Cook Island – IlfracombeTruly authentic Thai cuisine, very friendly staff with good service.
Thai Palace The – PlymouthTruly authentic Thai cuisine, very friendly staff with good service.
Thai Palace The – PlymouthWell worth a visit. Everything about this place is fantastic (the food, staff etc). Would highly recommend it.
The Highwaymans Haunt – Newton AbbotWe have eaten at the Flintlock Inn on three occasions whilst on our way back from Plymouth. Excellent all round except for one small detail........the music. If you are not a Carpenters fan, then continuous Karen can be too much!
The Flintlock Inn – HonitonThe pub is under new management and it shows as the previous owner was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Now the pub has been revamped and is a fantastic venue for an evening out. My three children thought the food was wonderful and the live music was a great way to end our holiday.
Old Inn – KingsbridgeBest thing to happen in Exeter for foodies for years. Coonsistent, quality food, at realistic prices and friendly atmosphere. Can't praise it enough and I am Ms Pickey when it comes to restaurants!
Strada – Exeterdining here is a fun experience, the staff are buzzing & friendly, nothing is too much trouble. very clean, would recommend, only gripe is cost of a cola, apart from that, everything excellent - also know others who have been & their experience equalled mine
Frankie and Bennys – PlymouthWe went twice in a week and ate really well. We both love simple seafood which is in abundance here. Also found the knowledgeable staff a real bonus. Back soon.
Bistro One – PlymouthIf you want a great Sunday roast this is the place you may need to book though, the food was lovely everything was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it will definitely be going back
London Inn – TeignmouthRed Barn is great, we often end up with a lovely breakfast here after an early morning surf-especially if we slept in the car! Woolacombe is a great place and Red Barn is perfectly placed, there's always a lovely buzz here.
Red Barn – WoolacombeI love the China House, we visit on a weekly basis! The food is always good-especially so for lunch, staff are hit and miss there are some very friendly members and some that are not so friendly but its the location and the lovely cosy feel of the place that is the real winner. Summer days and evenings are beautiful overlooking the boats and the barbican and on winter nights grab a seat next to one of the cosy fires! Lush
